I reached out to Ace Appliance as I had a fairly new dishwasher not working properly. It appeared to have a clog or slow drain (reading the codes) and would shut off. First, I can tell you that this company, in my opinion has cost me a new dishwasher. We set up the appointment for Tuesday and he gave me a window of time that he would be there. No call no show on Tuesday. I called, rescheduled for Wednesday am and then Wednesday passed - no call. I reached out to Brian and after muttering excuses of wrong scheduling, admitted he forgot. Brian ensured that he personally would be there if his tech could not, the next day. When he arrived he was pushy, arrogant and very unprofessional. I tried explaining what the issue was and what I thought might be going on (codes) but he was not interested nor listening to me. He then proceeded to YANK apart the unit and disassembled the wiring panel. While he was putting it back together, which now will not work at all, he flooded my kitchen floor including under the cabinetry - stating that this happens all the time. He then tore it apart again and called the warehouse to get a new electrical panel. He also stated that Frigidaire is garbage and they are not made to last and that it probably would not fix the problem. Now we have a quote for $250 for the panel and $160 for labor and no guarantee that it will work. This does not include the service fee that he quoted me three different prices ($79, 69 and then$59) within the same hour. Then he not only demanded payment of the service call but he demanded it be in cash (or check). When I explained I did not have it on me, It then became apparent that he was uncomfortable and something was off. He also stated he had over 9 years in the industry - but he is actually only 18 years of age. He then left and was supposed to call me that evening to let me know if he could get the part and the amount. I waited a few days and called him. Repeatedly my calls were unanswered. I finally got through, was put on hold and then hung up on. Also, voicemail is full. This was such an unbelievable bad experience that I felt I needed to do a review in hopes of saving another home owner from having to go through this.

Take this company down I was cheated out of money and nothing fixed. Garbage people.

Stay away from this guys! They don t know what they are doing. Such a scam. I was looking for a washing machine repair on home adviser. Poped up this guy with no reviews and gave me a call immediately! They said my washer is repairable for around 200$ And guaranteed on his work for 6 months. Was agree on the price and had the young boy less than 20 came in doesn t seem old enough as professional or experienced at all. He took off my washer and told me that my pump is bad which is he had to put a new pump in would work just fine. He agreed to put a different pump in the next day that he bought in and took my old pump with him. I trusted and paid him 200$ cash right after he put that one in and told me everything worked. Right after he left the house I realized that the pump didn t work at all. I called that boy Immediately buy he never pick up my call. End up had to call his dad, he told me he would send his son back the next day. Been waiting all day nobody show up finally the son texted me at night said he was busy n will come next day. He came the next day with other boy And I could tell that they didn t know what they were doing. I asked him for the money back since they didn t fix make it work. They end up wanted to leave and told me this time the board is bad and his dad would compensate the pump and will put the board in next day. He said he would let me know about the board when he get to his warehouse tomorrow. I was making sure with him while I felt something is wrong. I took off all day next day waited n waited, called, texted for 2 days they would never respond back. Until I used different number call him finally picked up and told me there were no board. I was asking for refund and why he try to get away from me. he told me to watch my tone and hung up on me. I knew I was ripped off and cheat on their business. Later on he texted me he would bring me refund 160$ back next day At my house. I was agreed and thought the would refund me. I took off early waited for them again. Called n text not responding. I gave him a review on Facebook since I knew he is a liar. He text me back at 10pm said he change his mind No more refund and don t wanna put up with people like me and threaten me if I say bad about his business. After all he promised to refund me again if I took off my review which is he never does. This guys such a scam, liar. Stay away please.
