I received quotes from 5 different companies. Ben from Ace treated me with the most respect and didn't lie to me once. A few other garage door companies told me that the minimum deposit was between 25% and 50% percent, when I told them that a was told that unless it was customer ordered then legally it should be 10% they told me I was lied to and didn't know what I was talking about. I knew I needed a new vault release and 3 companies quoted me around 300 extra to replace it, Ben told me the part is usually around $18. I am used to having men talk down to me when I get estimates or deal with at least one creep here or there but Ben treated me with respect and went above and beyond to make sure we got everything I wanted and even came back to install a key pad for the garage. He replaced the garage door fast and the new one looks amazing, it is so quiet. Ben cleaned up after he replaced the door and made sure we were happy before he left.

The installer was like a bull in a china shop Dented the door Was going to bring me a new weather strip. Never did. Used my material to finish the job. Hope there is a better company out there.

"please tell me what type of equipment. call me at (619)XXXX. more than likely it it was moved because it?s in the way or fell somewhere. there are only two of us in this company so if u describe the tool i can check my installers truck and ask him about it. we?ve been working together for 15 years and i have a hard time believing he would take something from someone?s garage. thank you, brian, owner, ace garage doors i just went thru my records for 2020 and i don?t have a ronald g in there from home advisor. can u also send me more info so i can figure out which job this is?"

Initial contact went well. I hired this company based on the sales persons knowledge and positive manner. Actual workmanship was less then Stellar, and the installer was not helpful. Wiring job needed to be redone and nobody showed up to fix it. High cost for low grade work. I am embarrassed that I fell for a slick sales pitch.

The rep did a fine job installing the garage door opener and was very timely. A+ on that. The only minor negative was I wish he would have cleaned up the area after the job was done rather than leaving it for me to do. Overall though, a good job.
