Ace Garage Door & Opener of Florida, Inc.

Used Ace?s Garage Door Repair & Installation through my American Home Shield (AHS) warranty and it felt like a complete warranty runaround. They came out, collected the service fee, and then marked the actual repair as ?non-covered? for $550 by labeling it ?secondary/incidental/consequential damage? ? basically implying it?s my fault because the door is ?very heavy? and the rollers are worn. Their own note says the worn rollers ?caused motor damage,? and therefore I need a new motor. That?s not a solution, that?s blame-shifting. On top of that, they tried to sell me a $300 ?maintenance job?. The whole experience felt like the AHS visit was just a way to get in the door, take the $125 service call, then upsell/upscharge a big repair bill. If you?re using AHS with them expecting warranty help, be careful ? this felt more like a sales call than a covered repair.

Mr. Danny him self arrived. Trouble shot the door system. My repairs made with in 1 hour, all was working. Arrived at site as promised and got the job done after last night storms burned a few Sensors. He was very professional, knew exactly what to do to troubleshoot the system. He completed the appropriate repairs in a timely manner. Excellent work would recommend him highly for either repairs or replacement of the garage door.

Ace is hired by American Home Shield with a service fee of $100. This company (Ace) finds ways to NOT repair but try to sell you new items. Seen this over and over again. I had 0 claims in over 2 years! My garage door opener broke 2 weeks ago. Two techs, reeking heavily of marijuana came 10 days late with 2 no-shows and quickly faulted my door to the point where I was better off buying a new door (of course). He was already measuring to give me a quote within 2 minutes after arrival. What a scam! I told them to leave immediately and canceled the insurance. I lubed my door and it rolls fine, but my money is gone!

Absolutely excellent customer service and repair. Has my highest recommendation. Was able to complete repair same day, explaining exactly what needed to be fixed. Super friendly and understanding.

This is the most professional garage door company I have worked with in over 20 years of home ownership. They have installed three doors and three openers over the years and every experience has been top notch with great results. I couldn't recommend them more!!

It was the cables "snapping" that caused my garage door to no longer function. When ACE arrived, he assessed the problem, gave me his estimate, and began the repair. Please let me state, that I've had THIS garage door and opener for 24 years. Until the day I needed ACE, my door was flawless. It has now been over two months since ACE repaired my door and opener. I never KNEW how quiet the "ups and downs" SHOULD have been ALL these years! Who knew it could be so? ACE knew, and I highly recommend their workmanship and personnel. Thanks, ACE!

Came the same day as they were called. Very professional installation and helpful advice on door maintenance. Garage door spring replacement was slightly more expensive than I had expected but that is probably due to length of time since last replacement. Parts and labor came with 2 year warranty.

Never had a problem with them. Always top notch work and I will continue to use them.
