Leavy was prompt and professional. He evaluated work to be done and determined the doorbell problem was the button. He obtained the necessary products needed and purchased them; pricing was very reasonable. The work was completed over a day and a half and I am very happy with the results. The doorbell button was replaced and works great.

I had a couple of strips of siding fall off the top of a 2nd story. The repairs were prompt and the siding is secure. The price was very reasonable.

It went fine, however, I was told the job would take roughly 8 hours for 1 person. It ended up being 15 hours, partly with a second handyman. So it was twice as much as we were expecting, and the price is already pretty high. Also, the second handyman brought an extra piece of siding that was not needed. We had already purchased a piece and had it painted, ready to install. So that was an unnecessary added expense. But I guess it's ok as we'll probably need it at some point in the future. What was really weird is that the same mistake happened when we had a piece of siding replaced a few years ago! Overall, they did a good job though, despite the cold weather.

He arrived punctually and showed me various photos of mail boxes on his smart phone and associated pricing. He subsequently went to Lowes and picked out one. Upon his return he was excited to tell me that he found a mail box cheaper than the one we agreed upon and it had a magnetic door on both ends. He dug up the old mail box and post (with a tool I was able to borrow from a neighbor), concreted in the new post and fastened the new mail box enclosure over the post. He also affixed new address numbers on the post. Looks awesome. He carted away the old post and box. A job beautifully done! He also was able to give me both a senior and military discount.

I had him do several small jobs and one bigger job. The small jobs were hanging ring towel holders in two bathrooms, hang a smoke/c.o. detector, replace a piece of siding outside. The big job was installing a new disposal. A couple days later my dishwasher wasn’t working so I called a company to come fix it. But after giving it some thought I decided maybe it had something to do with the new disposal. And sure enough, it did. So I had to cancel the repair people and called Handyman Helper back. And they realized the problem immediately and sent the guy back on Monday morning to fix it. He said he hadn’t done one in a long time so he mistakenly left off a major thing to connect to the water outlet from the dishwasher. It was an honest mistake and I was extremely pleased that it was taken care of so quickly. It just caused a minor inconvenience with the dishwasher because I had to get out the water standing on the bottom that couldn’t drain out before it was fixed.

Estimate was half of the actual cost. Advised by company that hourly charge would be $95 per hr The actual charge was $96 plus an additional service charge of $54. Cost of material was minimal - a switch and cable - my estimated cost $30; company charged $112+ The patch on the drywall was good. We completed the final sanding ourselves. Sean handled himself in a professiona manner and cleaned up the area after working.

OK in general. The work was delayed a lot by the weather. The rotten top two 2x4 beams (10 feet long) were removed and replaced and primer placed on the bare wood during the first visit. That part of the job was excellent. When it came time to paint the new wood, the worked thought he was to do the carpentry work first. He noted it was done and offered to paint the entire trellis. He used a roller then a brush, but it was blue on blue, and I couldn't tell if anything was not painted. However it was clear he did not cover the white primer on the new wood well at all. There were multiple white areas showing. This could not be seen at eye level, but was glaringly obvious as you went up the stairs to our front porch, and was easily seen from the porch. I reported this to the manager, and she sent out a professional to finish the job correctly.
