Our contractor selected Ace HVAC out of Princeton MN for the installation of an entire system for our new house in Chanhassen. This system includes infloor hot water heat as well as forced air furnace and AC. They were the first contractor there and had complete control for locating all of these systems. What a disaster! In the utility room they located the boiler across the room from the hot water manifiolds so they encircled the entire room with 2" copper tubing to reach the manifolds. No other system, hot water heater, softener, sink can be located near the walls because of the hot copper piping. The gas lines are a tangle of bent copper tubing. They installed a 3 ton AC system in a 4000ft2 while other companies recommend 5 ton. Absolutely the worst planning we have ever encountered for an HVAC system, a total lack of workmanship in the system layout and configuration. 6 months later nothing works. Choose a different company for your HVAC project! These people are real hacks!

The owner had us try some things before he sent his Tec out, which was nice. He said it would be $130, plus a switch, which is what he thought the problem was, due to using a good filter. Turned out to be $260, he was able to reset the switch, so no part needed, but it was after hours. Very happy with the service.

They were very quick to come out on a weekend. My AC stopped working on a 90 degree day and they were very quick to resolve the issue.

Responded quickly. and replaced a part/repaired it in the morning, still wasn't running right and they came back later that day replace another part. Told me the thermostat wasn't working right either then I had to stop at the hardware store to buy one ($40.00) and then I replaced the thermostat (easy 4 wires). The last part saved me a $100.00

He came out to diagnose the problem one day and left me with a diagnosis and estimate on how much it would cost, if we decided to do the repairs. Asked me to call, if we wanted them to order the part and do the work. Once I called them to order the part, they came out the next day. For my purposes, this was plenty of time.
