Ace Piano Moving Company, Inc.

I did have a few more boxes than what was on the original estimate of $1100-$1300 for 4 movers in 5 hours. They called in another guy and charged me for it when I did not order it plus took 8 hours and charged me $2300 for a 2-bedroom local move. Boxes were smashed and broken. Paid for a TV Box rental which did not show up. TV was left on my couch after the move not attached to the base. The door on the TV stand was broken off. Movers complained the whole time about their salesmen I ended up paying for more of their break time than the actual moving time. Called ACE to discuss my displeasure and was immediately offered a 10% discount before he even heard my concerns. We were taken advantage of by this moving company. We are not their first victims and I am quite sure will not be their last.

ACE Moving and Storage moved an upright piano for me from Roanoke to Lexington. It is a very special piano as it was my grandparent's piano and has been left to me. Terrance, Malik, and Tremaine were outstanding. They were professional, kind, and got right to work. Josh was wonderful when scheduling the move and explaining the fees involved. It was a flat fee which was great as I knew what I was paying up front. The guys did such a nice job paying attention to detail and ensuring the piano was wrapped and well secured in their truck. Our driveway is also a challenge but they handled it without any issues. The piano arrived at my home looking the same as it did when it left it's original home. I am so impressed by these guys and their outstanding professionalism and attention to detail. I will recommend this company to anyone in the future looking for a moving company!

I have had the good fortune to make use of Ace Moving twice. Both experiences were outstanding. Dealing with Josh Jager for consultation, scheduling and an estimate was a pleasure. The crew of Jeremy, Saul, and Manny could not have been more accommodating, friendly and hard working. Kudos to those three. The move went as smoothly as it could have gone and came in under budget. A customer could not ask for more.

9 months later. Even after ensuring they had take care of me through call, text, and email, it appears the company has now washed their hands of responsibility for repairs to most of the furniture damages. They sent one person out that did small touch ups and coloring in to scratches, yet any of the larger damaged items have now been written off by them as saying, we have already sent someone out; No, the tech did not fix the majority of issues, said they could not, and said I would have to have someone else fix the rest as he does not work on upholstery and would have to haul the dining table to his shop to repair. During the move, one of the movers could not help the other 2 because his back hurt and should not have been on the job, nor should we have had to help or pay for him just to make the job not take 12+ hours. I have damage at both houses, one of which is brand new construction, 2 fridges that needed repair (one was partially fixed after I spent hours of my own time), three chairs that have been almost tore apart, parts missing for furniture, damage to office furniture, entertainment centers, wrecked the dining table, and a laundry list of other damages. Dragging furniture across floors of the rough truck bed, not wrapping anything that went on the truck. It does not make sense. I used them in the past but apparently doing so again has been a mistake. After my move they fired one of the 3 movers, my guess being the injured one so they could get out of liability. The repair coordinator has also since been fired as he was reporting finishing jobs that were not being completed. I scheduled over the phone. I signed for full insurance on the bill of lading the day they arrived before beginning work. I will be reporting to the FMCSA, BBB, DOL, and OSHA.

I would never trust anyone else to move a piano. Period. They arrived 5 minutes ahead of schedule, moved the piano with a minimum of fuss and drama, and got it under cover before the rain started. I have used this business for many years, and as long as I'm in SW Virginia, these folks will be my only choice for moving an instrument.

Overall they were a very friendly, trusting and reliable company to work with at such an important time in our lives. They were very accommodating through the several times we had to change moving schedule. They actually sent someone to our home we were selling to check the inventory that would be getting moved instead of just looking online and assuming. They quoted estimated price was very close to the end result..actually a little less. The movers were very polite and conducted themselves very well. I would definitely refer them to friends and family!

The guys worked very efficiently and carefully moving everything especially the heavy items. Very respectful and courteous. Great experience with getting things moved from one house to another. Very thankful to have such a great crew come and help us get moved. Highly recommend Ace moving.

Our house is still under construction so the grading isn't complete. The guys were very patient and professional despite the difficult environment. I hope I never have to move again but would definitely go back to Ace if I do. They were wonderful to work with.

The project went extremely well from my first call with Josh to the young men coming and moving me from Christiansburg, VA to Turnersville, NJ. The guys were on time at both locations and I was extremely pleased with the work they did. Not only that, they were such a joy to work with; I highly recommend this company without hesitation. Trevon,Cole and Austin were very professional and worked very hard and went right to work as soon as they arrived and wasted no time.They were very friendly and handled all of our furniture with care and we had a lot of heavy pieces. We were very satisfied with the great service they provided and made our move so much easier.

This company is incredible! Amazing customer service. After calling several local companies they had the best price. Jeff and his team were extremely hard working, professional, and friendly.

I had a contract with Ace for Thursday, May 7, 2020 8:00 to 8:00. They showed up on Thursday at noon and stayed 2 hours and 15 minutes, stating that they would be back on Sunday...EARLY. They arrived on Sunday at 10:45, ate the lunch that I provided, and announced at 2:45 that they were leaving because it was Mother Day. While I was busy they grabbed my husband and requested payment. The contract was with me not him. He had no idea what our agreement was and tendered payment by cc. After the crew of 7 left, I found out that they charged nearly $3000.00. Do not use these people. They will lie and cheat. At least they have done this to me. They did not finish the job in two days. I had to hire other movers and they did a great job.

Everyone was really nice and helpful! This was my first time using a moving company and they did such a good job of answering all my questions and helping me have a stress-free move.

The guys did a great job! They were on time and very quick and efficient! They loaded my stuff and got to my new house and unloaded quickly and kept my stuff dry even though it started to rain before they were done! I would definitely use them again! Thanks Ace!
