Reviews
Write a ReviewMark was great to work with in the beginning. After I did calculations for some items, Mark became angry and stopped communicating. Before construction could continue, I needed to get an electrician out because there was a real issue. Mark insisted there wasn't. After I insisted and called him out on his lack of communication, he said he was sending over his electrician the next morning. I cancelled plans and stayed home to wait on electrician. I never heard from Mark and he did not respond to texts. I called and he said there was nothing wrong and a new switch was installed. I called an electrician. There was an issue and the new switch was not installed. We also agreed that I would pay for flooring materials on main floor(lvp and underlayment) and Mark would demo and level kitchen and provide transition and baseboard. The floor is sloped in an area. There is a random square board and cuts in wood. Mark said my request to correct this is ridiculous. He trues to get me to think there is nothing wrong or IĆ¢ m being unreasonable. The floor work was absolutely terrible. I also told him that he is not continuing work until revised contract is signed stating slope in floors would be repaired. I purchased all flooring materials and underlayment. Mark did not use proper underlayment either. My warranty on floors is voided with these issues not being resolved. Mark sent his workers back twice after they were not to be on property. I sent them home because new contract was not signed and Mark sad he is not signing if he has to fix where there is a dip.
She was crying and begged me to install the laminate floor for half the price because I am also doing her water damage claim work & she is a teacher and single mom with a lot of expenses. I agreed to help her without any deposit and believing that she really needs my help and I want to help. After the guys almost done (not completed) with removal & installation process, she stopped guys from finishing up the work. She claimed that there is a old light that is flickering & blamed guys created that because while they are working, they used outlets. She even accused guys removed water heater without asking her for a permission. Why would anyone move the water heater? She stated there is a real danger to the house and her family. It sounds like she was concerned that house [Member Information Removed] be on fire due to a flickering light issue. I told her I [Member Information Removed] try to look into it on Monday and she asked me not to send guys to finish up the work. As of today, I have not got back to her house to finish up the floor or insurance claim work. Then she was trying to force me to sign an agreement to be responsible for the uneven floor and much more. I refused to sign the paper and she is writing this derogatory review to force me to sign. Also I have not received a penny from her the floor work. If I sign what she wants me to sign, I know she [Member Information Removed] wants much more and try to force me to do just that. "Lack of Communication?" I have never used these much texts with homeowner in my construction life. The communication was always there. She only wants hear what she wants to hear. If she has her way, there [Member Information Removed] not be any company in this business. When you do this type of work, you run into people who [Member Information Removed] not be happy no matter how hard you try. I guess I just met one. However, I have hundreds of other people who sincerely appreciates and value my service. Thank you for reading my responding letter
Mark truly made our dreams come true! He was the most fair and reasonable quote, he took time to plan with us on time design and fixtures and he checked in himself to make sure work was getting done properly. We had an amazing experience remodeling our shower!
We have used Ace for a variety of small projects on 2 different occasions. They do great work at fair prices. I plan on using them in future. They did the following work: Roof Repair Plumbing / Sheet rock repairs Deck Staining Exterior Wood / Painting repair The work was done right. His crew did a great job. They cleaned everything after the jobs were completed. Mark is great to deal with. I have some other projects that Ace will be doing for me in the future.
Mark and his team had come replaced my Deck and did our entry addition. They did a great job as we had planned. I will use them again for other projects
Mark was prompt to come out and give me an estimate. He and his crew showed up on time, worked hard and got the job done. He replaced the rotting siding on my chimney. I would definitely use them again.
Mark was professional, knowledgeable and timely with our project. I highly recommend Ace for any deck work. Thank you for the thorough job.
Mark and his team were wonderful to work with. They were timely, polite and efficient. The replacement of my deck was complicated, and Mark came up with a solution. The result is beautiful. I would use them again. Highly recommend.
As an engineering/ construction manager (nuclear and pharmaceutical), the quality of the work was outstanding. The crew was very professional and talented. Working with Mark was a pleasure
