Aces Carpentry

Overall - it was a good (and easy) experience. The contact, discussions, work arrangements and work itself were all good. It was one of the easiest experiences working with a contractor that I've had. I added some details, and changed some details on the morning the job was to start with no issues. The job did take a little longer than he had said, but not than I had anticipated, the whole process including initial consulation was 7 days - until the deck was completed. I would recommend being as specific as possible and discussing all details.

I hired Eddie Ace to install a wooden fence in my backyard. I was pressed for time. My daughter and niece (aka Thelma and Louise) wanted to use the backyard to have a small evening wear party. I only had 2 weeks to get the fence done. Well Ed Ace made it happen. When he first finished some things were a bit off. Ed and I disgusted it and without hesitation Ed perfected it. I love my fence. My daughter told me that all of her guest complimented the fence. Thanks Ed .

Good fence repair replacement job

Ed is a very hard worker and came up with an innovative solution to our problem. We wanted to extend our existing deck and construct an access door in the deck so we can open the Bilco doors under the deck extension. It was a challenge to get the details right, and Ed went the extra mile to make it work. He is very friendly and personable, and he is fair and easy to work with.

Ed called us and kept us informed about the time/date when he would work. Completed work on time and in budget. Finishing quality is very poor. The quality of materials (electrical) very poor. Few touch up work still needs to be completed (work has been done for 12 months) and Ed has not responded to frequent calls/reminders to complete the work.

Ed at Aces Carpentry was great to work with. He was very reasonably priced compared to several other places we contacted to install our fence. He explained everything he was doing and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We will definitely use Aces agin and recommend them to others.

Aces did a very good job on my deck. I would recommend them for any carpentry job you need done.

Exceeded my expectations. FAST, PROFESSIONAL, EXCELLENT WORK! Repaired several additional items at no charge. My bathroom was half ripped up by another contractor that never returned to finish. Having only one bath, this was an emergency to get done quickly and Ace's really came through. I would GLADLY recommend them. The only other ServiceMagic contractor contacted me after the job was done. THANK-YOU ACE'S!!

I would definately recommend Ed for roof repairs or any other home repair. He is very reliable and seems to know what he is talking about.

This is the first contractor I've had who kept in constant contact with me throughout the project. On days when he was unable to make it, I received a call first thing so that I did not waste my time waiting. Project came in exactly within budget. Downside was that he really did not have good finishing skills and worked very slowly.

One of the worst contractors we have had work with us to date. Ed Kolbinskie was not prepared for the job at hand. We lent him some tools. Took repeated visits to get the job done and we still haven't gotten him back to finish up one piece he left unfinished after he
