Fair price, great job

They just finished installing the new asphalt shingle roof on our house. I had studied up on the Owens Corning Asphalt Shingle Roofing System beforehand (see their website) and picked that roofing system. As I watched, Acker Roofing did not miss a step in the manufacturer's system. Price was competitive, too.

Arrived on time, completed on time, did a great job in cleaning up, staff was friendly and easy to work with.

I had several estimates from different roofing companies and this one came in with the lowest rate given the extra work I wanted done. I don't feel I compromised on quality of work, not only does my roof look great but I originally started off adding one skylight for my kitchen and one sun tunnel for my bathroom. I quickly decided I wanted to add 2 more sun tunnels to my hallway and Dustin was able to accommodate my request immediately and have them added. There were 4 workers doing my roof and they completed it in 3 days, all were very professional and respectful. I received compliments from my neighbors on how nice the new roof looks and the extra light in my home now is literally night and day. Sean was the subcontractor who did the inside work on my skylight, very professional and did a great job.

From my point of view, they're pleasant, polite, reliable, hard working, and very professional. The estimate they provided us was very competitive.

Very thorough estimate and quote that clearly explained available options. Dusten even repaired a leak while he examined the roof. The roofing date was scheduled and kept despite this winter's rains. The crew worked very efficiently and removed the old shingle roof in a day. Before they finished each day they covered the roof to protect it from the rain and cleaned the perimeter of the house from roofing debris. Ivan, did an excellent job fixing areas of the roof that had been damaged by leaks and repaired it so that we won't be having future problems. Overall, I thought they were highly skilled, courteous and very attentive.
