Satisfied with the work but l was told the mechanic would be here at 10 am but didnâ t show up until after 12:30 pm and l was worried that the work was not going to be completed. But overall I am satisfied.

Provided service the same day. The plumber was knowledgeable and explained the problem and service options clearly. The price seemed high but I didn’t have time to compare with others. At least I didnt have to pay a fee for the service call itself, just the repair and supply costs.

He just restart my heating unit nothing repeared, charged $185.00 , too expensive

I've used Ackey twice. First, for an annual cleaning of my forced air gas furnace in October before we started using the system for the season. The technician (Jonathan) was almost an hour late. The second time, was after we started using the system in February because the system wasn't working properly. My husband had them come out to assess the problem. The same technician, Jonathan, came out. He stood around but at no point opened the unit. He just listened and said the system was working fine. He demanded payment on the spot before leaving. The unit continued to give us problems--we went without heat for about a week during some bone-chilling temps. We decided to contact another company, AmerikHomes, to get a second opinion. We were able to send them a video of what our furnace looked like and what was happening or should've been happening. They then did a conference call to discuss next steps. Leon came out the next day. He opened the unit and cleaned the flame sensor (which apparently was not previously cleaned by Jonathan of Ackey). Leon talked us through everything he was doing and made helpful recommendations. I reached out to Ackey to advise them of the other company's finding, that the unit was not cleaned properly--or at least, that particular component but received voicemail. I received a callback from Jonathan, the same rep. He advised that he did clean the unit. "I would've been able to say that to someone else but he was the one that came out." I found him to be combative and condescending so I asked to speak with the owner. I was given a name, Kirk Johnson, and told that he was not in. A short while later, I received a call from someone who gave his first name as Kirk but did not say which company he was calling from, but I had the name noted from my call with Jonathan. Strangely, the gentleman, Kirk, sounded exactly like Jonathan. He told me he had complete faith in Jonathan's work and if he said he cleaned the unit, he had to believe he did. All he could offer was the amount paid for the service call deducted from future work. I advised I would never use his company's services based on my experience to date. We went around in circles but he made his point clear, Jonathan was an excellent tech that he trusted implicitly. Jonathan couldn't have said it any better. However, I suspected, I was still speaking with Jonathan. I would not recommend using this company. Customer and technical services are truly lacking. Unprofessional. Dishonest. Disrespectful.
