About us
Our business is owned and operated by the Hanley family, and has evolved many times over the years. Acme Electric was started in Spokane, Washington in 1945 by Arch Hanley as a radio and appliance repair store. Over the years the business evolved to sell televisions in the 1950s, appliances in the 1960s, computers in the 1970s, furniture in the 1990s, and eventually wrapped it all together with Custom Home Automation in the 2000?s. Believing that Home Automation is the future of the business as Arch?s grandson, Jason Hanley, opened ACME Integration just over the Idaho border in Post Falls in 2001. Bringing home entertainment and home security into homes all over the inland northwest. Today, with offices in Idaho, Washington and now in Scottsdale Arizona, ACME features the nation's best Home Automation brand, Crestron, and is staffed by professional system designers, installers and programmers.
