Walter (aka Wally) is a customer's dream contractor! He ALWAYS showed up on time (many days a bit earlier!), has a great work ethic (along with his assistant Jeff), stayed on budget, and finished our screened porch a week earlier than he estimated. He is definitely a qualified professional, and along with his true Mainer's sense of humor, Walter was a joy to work with! We would hire him for another project in a heartbeat!

Walter was great! A true Mainer- hard working, dependable and had the patience to deal with a picky homeowner- me! He remodeled our kitchen and it came out beautiful! I pinch myself every day! He was a dedicated advocate for me with all subcontractors and any time I asked for something to be adjusted, he promptly did it. You'd be lucky to hire him!

Very quick, highly professional, quality job. Agreed price for project was within my expectations and I was impressed with the quality of workmanship delivered. No nonsense approach throughout the project and spot on timeline completion. Actively listened to ideas/concerns and made suggestions as to best course of action. Took immediate action to correct the one very minor hand rail issue on final city inspection. I highly recommend Acorn builders. I am already planning another project with them.

This company did a VERY good job and I wanted make sure they got the recognition they deserved. He repaired a deck that we couldn't tear down, because the city would never let us replace it and Walter repaired it so well , I had friends say how beautiful it was after he was done, he worked so hard and never stopped i even asked if he had a helper and he said no its not that large a job, but i thought it was lol. I didn't think this job was going to be completed or done till Sept. and it was don in 2 weeks

Walter was wonderful. We have a small puppy and the deck being built is in her fenced in yard. Walter put up with her barking and begging throughout the build. We would hire him again for any building project.
