Quality pool cleaning you can rely on!

Starting rate for weekly pool cleaning: $140. Types of pools we clean: Residential In-ground concrete pool. NOT acrylic spas, commercial, above-ground, vinyl, or glass fiber pools. Rates start at $140 per month for a pool of 12,000-gallon water volume or less with little to no surrounding vegetation. Price rises depending on the pool's complexity, water volume, and surrounding vegetation (It's not the same for a screened pool as a pool with a big tree on top of it). We charge a monthly flat fee, not a per-visit fee. You get one more cleaning at no charge in the months that have five weeks. You are getting 51 services for the price of 48. If the pool is green or cloudy, there will be a one-time fee for pool shock.

How We Got Started

I chose to work in this industry because I enjoy the great outdoors, have good people skills, like to be of service to others and prefer the flexibility that comes with being a business owner. I moved to the States in 2002 and that same year I started working as a pool tech for another company. I founded Acquality Pool Service, Corp. in April of 2014 with my wife Beatriz, after a year of planning the launch and incorporation of the company as a business in the state of Florida. I am in charge of operations (cleaning the pools) while Beatriz is in charge of clerical duties (marketing, accounting and billing). We enjoy the outdoor lifestyle and are happy to serve South Florida families with all of their pool cleaning needs.

My home pool is used daily by AirBnB guest. I've never had any complaints from any guest. On the contrary ALL have been very impressed by the quality of the pool water. Acquality is very responsive when any work needs to be done with pump or filter. Highly recommend them!

Criminal Background Check

Who does HomeAdvisor background check?

The owner or principal of each business in HomeAdvisor's network (with the exception of Corporate Accounts) must pass a background check. Unfortunately, we cannot perform a background check on every employee of a business—the background checks are performed only on the owner or principal. As always, we recommend that you conduct your own research on the businesses you hire, including making inquiries directly with the businesses regarding their employee background check policies.

What does the background check cover?

We use a third-party vendor to conduct a criminal records search in the county in which the business owner or principal works. Our third-party vendor uses a national criminal database ("NCD") to screen service professionals. Business owners or principals with felony arrests that carry a pending decision or who are convicted of felonies in the past 7 years ago will not be admitted to the network. Businesses or owners convicted misdemeanors or felonies, or who have dismissed charges or arrests on their records involving rape/incest, sex offenses, or lewd and lascivious behavior at any point in time will not be admitted to our network.

Our background check does not exclude service professionals unless the crime at issue is a felony.

*The comprehensiveness of the NCD varies by state. Please be aware that the reporting in the NCD is particularly limited in the following states: AL, CO, DE, GA, ID, IL, KS, LA, ME, MA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, NH, NM, SD, UT, VA, VT, and WY. After initial admission to the HomeAdvisor network, businesses are re-screened if a concern is reported to HomeAdvisor.

Corporate Accounts

Some businesses are employees, franchisees, dealers or independent contractors ("Corporate SP's") of larger national or "Corporate Accounts". When this is the case, we may match you with the Corporate Account or with one of their Corporate businesses. The above screening process does not apply to Corporate Accounts, as HomeAdvisor does not screen Corporate Accounts or Corporate businesses.

Verify Trade License HomeAdvisor checks to see if the business carries the appropriate state-level license. Verify Insurance As a part of our screening process, we encourage professionals to carry general liability insurance. We require coverage for hundreds of services. Verification of State Business Filings For business types that require a Secretary of State filing, we confirm that the business is in good standing in the state in which it is located. Criminal Records Search HomeAdvisor uses 3rd party data sources to conduct a criminal search for any relevant criminal activity associated with the owner/principal of the business. Sex Offender Search We confirm that the owner/principal is not listed on the official state Sex Offender web site in the state in which the owner/principal of the company is located. Bankruptcy Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the history of the principal/owner of the business for bankruptcy filings by or against them. Legal Search for Civil Judgments We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for state level civil legal judgments entered against them. Liens Search We use 3rd party data sources to check the principal/owner of the business for liens placed against them. Identity Verification (SSN) HomeAdvisor verifies the social security number(s) of the owner/principal for identity check purposes. This check applies primarily to smaller business entities. Identity Verification (Reverse Phone Lookup) We conduct a reverse business phone lookup to identify records matching the phone number information provided by the business.
