Do not use this company. I had a contract to perform some painting that i needed by a specific date. I stated this up front and they agreed. After waiting 2 weeks the day came for the work. My wife was waiting and the company was not there in the morning. I called only to find out they CONTRACT OUT the work. They never told me there company was not going to perform the work. They did not even know the subcontractor did not show up until i called them. Acra called the subcontractor who stated he fired the painter assigned to our project. Acra had no backup plan since they only had one contractor available. I was left with a deadline and no help. Acra does not perform the work so they just blamed the subcontractor, stated there was nothing they could do but cancel the contract. I had to get another contractor which cost me double since it was an emergency. Save your money and get a contractor from Tucson. They will leave you if something goes wrong.

"When the contract was signed with this gentleman all of our journeyman had already been scheduled for other jobs and they had already started. Yes we had to use a Sub Contractor which is not abnormal for any company. Unfortunately yes the sub did fire his guy the day before we were not notified until the day of the paint job. We could have it done after 12:00 that same day but the client could not wait that long because the appraiser had to go back out to the home because of the closing. The only other option I had was to refund him his money. We had a plan its the client that could not wait its not our fault that he waited until the end to have this done and close on his house."

Project is over and completed on time. The actual construction work was well done by project mgr. Michael. Excellent communication all during the job. The subcontractors have also been professional and have kept to the schedule. It's always difficult trying to live in a construction zone and even a short project time seems a lot longer than it really is. Have to say that the project mgr., Michael, made this difficult time as easy as he possibly could. Carl, owner, showed in many ways that he cared about us as clients and was also concerned about our comfort. All in all, a very successful remodel.
