Reviews
Write a ReviewThe company relocated me from Florida. I initially spoke with Michael from sales, who thoroughly explained the estimate and ensured I understood all the details. My delivery to Georgia arrived a few days earlier than expected, and everything was in excellent condition. Sylvia from the office was very responsive, and Megan from dispatch kept me well-informed about the shipping process. I truly appreciate the excellent service across states.
DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS....YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! I was relocating from Indianapolis, Indiana to Greenville, South Carolina. I had looked up reviews and found nothing but good reviews online. During one of the calls with Michael I gave a list of all furniture and contents of my one bedroom 700 square foot apartment. Michael gave a quote of $2495. With a deposit due at booking, then a payment at pick up and delivery. Michael explained that a credit card would be fine for the deposit. Then at pick up a personal check would be fine, as well as money order, Zelle, or Venmo. I paid a deposit of $895. The pick up date in Indianapolis was set for July 24 / 25th. It was explained that they give a 2 day pickup window, in case of a truck breaking or some similar delay. I was assured several times that all of my things would be delivered to Greenville, South Carolina on July 27th. All of my things would be loaded in ONE truck and delivered all together. I was called late in the day of July 23rd stating that they movers would arrive July 24th between 8 and 12. . Then at 10pm on July 25th they called stating that they needed to see how many things that I had to move. I was very frustrated that they would want to do this so late at night, after being 2 days late. So, I arranged with the driver for them to arrive at 7am July 26th. Finally, the mover Alex arrived at 8 am on July 26th. I noticed that they truck he was in was a rental with no company logo on it at all. It also seemed very small. Then he proceeds to inform me that they do not have enough room in the truck. Alex then performs a walk-through of the apartment, and informs me that the total to move my things would be a grand total of $6772.00. After accounting for the deposit that I paid I would owe them a total of $ 5877.00. All of my things would be delivered July 27th to South Carolina, if there was a delay it would be July 29th at the very latest. I wrote him a personal check for $3833, given I did not have time to find another company for the time frame needed. Alex and the other mover then went to rent a Uhaul truck and started loading it.They made quick work of wrapping and packing the truck, everything was loaded within about 4 hours. I was then notified that upon delivery I would need to pay $1600. My truck did not show up until Aug 8th. In that time i got one phone call returned from the company with "an update". It was a woman who said she had great news my truck was picking up another delivery somewhere, taking that deliver somewhere, then would head to me. Then she tells me that they held my things long enough to ensure that my check cleared. Well, my check cleared my back 7/31/2024. My things finally arrived August 8th. It was the day of Aug 8th when the same lady that gave the worthless update informed me they would not take a check. It had to be cash or a money order. They were threatening to hold my things longer and have the truck turn around and not deliver unless I paided. The driver made me give him the payment before anything was off loaded. He didnt even have a company name for me to write on the money order. There was a fake company name and DOT number taped to the rental truck. And this truck was not the orange Uhaul truck, it was a white Ryder truck. Then he measures the sidewalk and demands $75 more. This charge was them having to walk more than 75 feet. My suggestion was to park your truck closer, not my issue. Finally, gave in and gave him cash. They left several things wrapped in moving blankets, and unassembled. I was missing furniture, and a washing machine. He then tells me a story that he picked up my stuff in Chicago, and packed some of it in his truck But there was still stuff in Chicago that would be delivered the next day. He then tried to scam his hired help before leaving. The final delivery did not show up until 8/10
Me and my family had a wonderful experience with across states relocations. We moved from Georgia to Florida first Keith our sales representative was very helpful and upfront about everything. We recived our items on the day we wanted overall had a wonderful experience will be using them again
I would give zero stars if I could. Total scam. They hold your items hostage. Do not communicate then when I finally got a delivery after numerous calls and texts it was a driver only. NOT a mover. I paid for a mover. I had to move every box and piece of furniture into my home. In addition they tried giving me someone elseâ s belongings in addition to my own. And there were several broken and missing items. They should not be allowed to be in business. Filed a BBB complaint as well as a complaint with the dept of transportation. DO not make the mistake I did. Hire reputable company.
The process started out good. The sales rep, Keith Burton, was great. After receiving several ridiculously higher quotes I choose this company. I paid them $830.03 just to book. The pick was horrible. The pick up people took my materials to secure my load then charged me for it. When I told them about it the driver Anton, told me that he would take that cost off. He lied. I called the corporate office and sales rep and left messages and emails to date I have NOT received a call back. They charged me for items in space that they failed to pack, that I ended up having to ship myself because they refused to come back when they pulled out of my driveway and I flagged them down and called them to let them know that they left items. They refuse to take the charge off for those items which costed me an extra $250 to ship this is in addition to the $1576.36 that I paid the driver at pick up. I was told that my items would arrive in Arizona in 8 to 14 days and would be placed in a storage space that I would have access to because my apartment wouldnâ t be ready for 3 more days after the 14th day. On day 15 I called and spoke to Sylvia, she told me that my belongings were still in transit from state to state as the driver had to pick up and drop in other places. I informed her that I needed them to just bring my things to my apartment as it was ready and gave her my address. She said ok and hung up. I had to push my move in back due to not having any of my items for my house and continue to sleep at various places (spending more money). Over a month later my things arrive to Arizona 8/3. They did not adjust the price like they were supposed to from the incorrect and invalid charges. They miscalculated my 10% AARP discount and refused yo fix it and a person who was named Boba in the drivers phone was rude and yelled at me told me to call the cops and he was going to have the driver take my things back. Feeling threatened I paid the invalid price to get my things. So far, Iâ ve noticed missing boxes and items. Many of my boxes had been opened and retapped this is after first glance and review. The new driver (who said â they just give truck and say deliver) said he knows nothing about anything and was just given instructions. I have reported them to the BBB and I will be posting this review on every single platform I can. Until they make right what they did. I have paid them $4100 the customer service is trash, they stole, they lied, and lack accountability. Iâ m highly disappointed. If not resolved, next steps is going to tv and larger organizations to have them shutdown for bad practices.
I can only give it one star because the guys that came to pack our belonging (4 hours late) were careful and respectful. As far as communication from the dispatch or anyone in the company other than sales, there is NONE. We had to repeatedly call and leave messages, and text their "emergency number" to get a text back two days later. We are still waiting for our belongings that were promised between 1:00 and 4:00 PM No calls, no texts, no information to know what is going on. I would never recommend this company. I have moved multiple times in the last 10 years and this is the worst moving company we have experienced. I am surprised and disturbed that homeadvisor.com recommends these characters. I will seek out advise from another source. No thank you!
