Action Asphalt Paving

See first review below. Johnny Jones will not answer phone or call back. Now our asphalt is buckling under the normal weight of vehicles as it?s getting hotter. 1/2 to 1 inch dents in driveway from cars parked. It?s a shame a man runs a business for 25 years and would rather cheat people and do a pitiful job instead of doing it right to begin with. Do you want to risk your property with this business? Consider yourself warned about this man?s honesty and integrity.

Do not hire Johnny Jones of Action Asphalt , he definitely in business of taking advantage of people. I am a paraplegic and he took full advantage of my condition and my trust . He quoted a price on the phone and it ended up costing 4 times . He will not call you back only thing he did complete was cashing the check! Now I have to find someone to fix his mess. Not sure but if this is Action Paving with Johnny Jones, heed a warning. Good old boy system. Tells you what you want to hear. Promises you everything you ask. Never on time, never followed through on what he said he would do or hours later. Equipment kept breaking down delaying the hot asphalt spread. Uneven lines, alignment of spreading not right. Corners breaking off. 2 year warranty that he gave - is useless. Will not answer phone, will not reply back to voice massages. So if you are looking for any of the above to complicate your day, Johnny Jones with Action Paving in SC is your man. A charlatan at his best.

First said he could pave the drive way for $350 then it some how turned into something like $600 for a carport. It wasn't even paved just gravel. My husband told them yes but he is very sick and if he was healthy he would told them take it down the road

I selected Johnny for this job because he offered a reasonable price and told me he would provide 4 inches of crush and run for a base and 3 inches of asphalt. The area was already graded by another company using a laser level on their machines bucket, set at 4 inches below final grade. With 7 inches of material, I was afraid there would be a slope down to the garage threshold. No need to worry, I am lucky if there is 2 inches of material in the driveway. There are patches all over the driveway. Added material around the thresholds making a ramp up to the door. I asked for a paved walkway to the door so a wheelchair could get in. Again there is a patchwork of material ramping up to the front stoop. No way a wheelchair would easily get in the door. I called, texted and emailed numerous times expressing my displeasure at the final job. Johnny agreed to come fix it, but then ghosted me for the last 2 months. Go find another company. They also left 2 piles of trash at the job.

Johnny called back, gave us a very fair price and had the job completed within 48 hrs. The layer of asphalt was exactly 4 inches deep as he PROMISED and looks great. What IMPRESSED me the most was since the load was a bit short...instead of stretching it out and reducing the depth of asphalt he made another trip to Columbia to pick up the few feet of material that was needed. He stayed in contact with me during the whole process. No money asked for in advance. He made sure we were happy BEFORE asking for payment. We are having him return to add on . Exceptional quality and work ethics. 10 stars!

on his job work, i wanst satisfied, i feel like i was scammed , he hung up on me , he didnt call back, and i wouldnt suggest for anybody for his services.

great prices good work .

Great company to work with.

Johnny was absolutely amazing. He did a relatively small repair for me and was fast, on time and very knowledgeable. Most importantly, when I am ready to completely repave the entire driveway, I don’t need to search out competitors. I already have a great price and know that he will do an amazing job.

Great work ! I’m a timely matter

They worked hard, they were nice and polite.
