Furniture Repair
Michael Johnson repaired my motorized recliner chair that was damaged due to power surge (lighting strike). Mr. Johnson diagnosed the problem by phone (AC adapter) and promptly provided home service and repair within 72 hours. Cost was $286.00. Previous so called furniture provider (QFR Services) quoted $503.36 to replace chair motors and other components, but never provided service after a 3 months wait on my part.

Action Furniture was very flexible in scheduling the in-home repair. I was informed of a 2-hour window in which to expect the worker and was notified when he was running late. The work was done quickly and the sofa seems to be good as new. The only thing was the area was not cleaned completely because I found a screw and a few staples on the rug which would not feel good if someone stepped on it. I was very pleased with the cost of the work because another company estimated it to be 3 times as much.

We do our best to let the customer know to be sure to vacuum as there may be staples, wood shavings, etc. left behind. Try as we might, we never get them all.It really is amazing what can accumulate in furniture over time. Due to your feed back, we have decided to purchase a portable vacuum cleaner, to ensure our customers homes are left in the exact condition it was prior to service."

mike was great, and could speak to different brands of furniture manufactuers, which i found helpful for future purchases. i wish i coul have gotten my chair fixed faster, but part was my schedule and part was mike's work load. i was very satisfied once the work was complete. and i have already told friends and work colleuges about action furniture repair.

Michael called this morning to give me the 2hr. window for which time I should expect him . He then called about a 1/2 hour before his arrival to let me know when he would arrive .He and Sherry came in and got right to work and he knew exactly what cord was needed flipped it over took it apart installed the new cord put it back together and was done within a hour very friendly and would recommend to anyone that needs their recliner repaired and the price is very reasonible.
