Doug did a wonderful job designing, building and installing built-in bookcases, an entertainment center and entrance lockers for our new home. He maintained meticulous attention to detail, listens carefully to what you are looking for, and his work is absolutely beautiful. We are so happy we we hired him!

Doug designed, built and installed a custom wall unit for us and also replaced some crown molding. He also installed the wall unit lighting and mounted our new TV. Everything came out perfectly! Doug's attention to detail and craftmanship shows in his work. He's prompt, honest, responsive and only works on one job at a time. Very happy, highly recommend!

Doug is the man! Couldn’t be happier with the wall unit, fireplace surround that he built. This was a big project. Doug went above and beyond and even found us a blue stone hearth. He was right on with the timing of the project including estimated start and completion dates. A true pro. Meticulous and very easy to work with. He offered great design ideas and solutions as well.

Doug has a very clean & meticulous pattern to his work and it shows in the final product. Many of the cuts were rather challenging but after seeing the work, iI understood his confidence level was well deserved. We couldn't be more happier with the results and would not hesitate to use Action again in the future.

I was doing a total renovation of my living room, dining room, powder room and staircase. Doug designed and custom built an incredible floor to ceiling wall unit entertainment center. He installed all new window mouldings, crown and base moulding and wainscoting up the staircase and hallway. We had a few design sessions before he started the project. Communication was important throughout and Doug showed patience and had great suggestions. Everything came together beautifully, (even some last minute changes). My home looks like it was just built yesterday and the craftsmanship is top notch! Everyone who sees it comments about how beautiful it is and the quality of the work. Doug is a skilled craftsman who does impeccably detailed work. We are 1st time home owners and we're looking to add a breakfast nook to our kitchen and wainscoting to our dining room. Doug walked us through the entire planning and design and gave us ideas we would never have considered on our own. He ended up building a beautiful L-shape custom bench with storage compartments that have no-slam hinges completed with a bead board backing and a beautiful chair rail. The chair rail then blended perfectly into our dining room where Doug added the wainscot moulding where he finished it off perfectly filling in all the nail holes and a beautiful paint job. I hired Doug to make 2 bookcases with doors and a TV stand. From drawings to delivery it took less than a month! And the final product is beautiful and looks great in my living room. I would definitely hire Doug again and highly recommend him to anyone.
