The company owner (Jim) was the person that I worked with from beginning to end and he was pleasant and honest throughout our conversations. After I explained my project to him, he provided an estimated quote range. When he arrived at my home (on time), he looked at the project and held to the original quote to perform the work. He did the work (replaced 2 kitchen ceiling fixtures) that same day. I am extremely satisfied with this vendor and would definitely call him again if the need arises. BTW - he left very little mess when he finished.

Jim was quite responsive, flexible and quick to complete the project. Cleanliness was a must and he certainly was. I would definitely use them again.

I got two bids to upgrade my electrical service to 200 Amp. I originally asked Action Electric to also give a price on a generator hookup as well. When I got the bid back, it was $600 higher than another bid I had gotten to do the 200 Amp upgrade, and in my initial review of the contract, I thought the extra price included the generator project. Later, though, I realized this was not on the bid. With more back and forth over the price, and an extra permit fee being charged because the generator was not added in the first time, we decided not to go ahead with the generator project. So, I was disappointed that the original bid did not include what I had asked to have done. When the workers arrived, they started playing very loud, obnoxious heavy metal rock music, which they did turn off when I requested they do so. Jim was very responsive, and got the job done in my limited time that I had to get this project done, but I felt the cost was high compared to the other estimate. I am disappointed the generator project was not able to be completed in with the 200 amp service, but we could not afford to have that done at this time with this contractor, which I may have been able to do with the other contractor.
