I had the WORST experience with Trevor, the owner of ACT. This was a couple years ago and I waited to write the review because he had threatened me and my family. I hired him to repaint my kitchen cabinets. I paid half upfront and the remainder was to be paid after the installation (per his contract.) it was Supposed to take two weeks, but it took months. Finally he told me he would be able to install my cabinets, but I would have to pay him the remaining balance beforehand. (I realized later that this was because he had ruined them) and wanted the payment before I knew this. Luckily, I told him I was not comfortable paying him until they were installed. He sent me a very nasty email, threatening me and my family and saying that he was a former police officer, and he knew all the police in town and they would do nothing to help me. My cabinets were in excellent condition, but had some paint chipping. The pictures are of what he did to them.

For our bathroom remodel, the subcontractors were great. Our problem was with the owners and their lack of contact during long periods of no work. We were told the project would take 10 - 12 weeks to complete. We were 7 and a half months into the project when we terminated their service. What was completed, the painting, tile work, shower door were great. The problem arose when the cabinets and counter tops were done. We found it necessary to contact the cabinet vendor, discovered the cabinets hadn't been paid for and paid the vendor to get the project going again. Additionally, the company began letting employees go the last weeks of our project further lengthening our project time. The owners of Acts Interiors really are nice people who simply cannot finish a project on. time and seem to have too many projects going at one time.

Job was very polite and courteous and did an excellent job. The new vanity was installed in a short amount of time, and looks better than when the original one was installed during a remodel project. He made sure everything was clean and in proper working order before he left, and the price was much lower than I anticipated to pay..
