Complete Home Inspection
Brent is thorough and helpful. His reports are clear and concise and I have recommended him to several friends and colleagues. Brent will answer any and all questions that may arise, and offers his number for any further explanations, if needed. He has been voted the best Home Inspector in Lawrence for years now. Complete Home Inspection
I hired this guy specifically because of a stain on the ceiling that usually means the roof leaks. He pointed a gadget at the stain and told me no leak. I purchased the house that summer (super dry, no rain) and now that it is raining every day I have got water pouring into my new home right there at that stain. Had he included in his report that there was a leak I could have had the seller fix it but now it is on me. What is worse is that when I reached out to him to rectify the situation he snubbed me. I would not recommend this guy to my worst enemy.

"This inspection happened in December 2017 and this complaint is coming in May 2019. My report recommended 48 repairs to this 40-plus-year-old home. I recommended multiple times in the report what repairs should be made to ensure a watertight structure. Even without those repairs, the home remained watertight for nearly a year and a half. A lot can happen in 17 months, especially on the exterior of a home, and my report makes it clear that my evaluation of a home is completed according to the state of the structure on that day, and not 17 months later. It cannot possibly be known or predicted what may happen to a structure over a year and a half."
