Made an appointment Tech arrived assessed the job to replace the water tube in the refrigerator Said he did not have tubing Charged me $99 said someone would be in touch with me within 24 hours with an estimate. Said the $99 would be deducted from the bill No one has called Several attempts to reach there? office? with no answer. No message no way to contact them. Appears to be a common theme with Adept Appliance Horrible experience. Total scam.

Quick response to call me, and service within 2 days

The experience was horrible. It was impossible to reach someone and when we finally did they came out to inspect our microwave and charged $90.00. We were also told that the microwave needed to be replaced and the initial fee would be included if we purchased the microwave. The problem is that no one would return a call from me or the warranty company that was going to replace the microwave. Adept was not prompt and professional. Communication was horrible. We were referred to Adept through HomeAdvisor. Bad, Bad experience. We finally had to go to Lowes who responded quickly. If anyone from HomeAdvisor wants to contact me I can be reached at 3148568780. I wasted $90.00.

I've been WAITING on this company to complete a refrigerator repair through AHS for nearly a month. After the initial tech visit they refuse to return any of my 6-7 calls for a status update although they state that they reply to inquires within 24 business hours....It's like they dropped off the map..Extremely unprofessional - no contact with the customer for 3+ weeks!!! This says a lot about what they think/feel about the customers that hire them....BEWARE and be ready for disappointment!!!

Technician was professional and friendly. Diagnosed the problem and let us know what to expect for next steps. Phone communications could be improved. Couldn't leave a message as mail box was full.

Prompt response. Oven fixed in no time. Very satisfied.

The technician was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. My issue was not an ordinary repair issue, but she used ingenuity and resourcefulness to correct the problem.

Very unhappy. We were not told up front that there would be a fee for the diagnosis and visit. After the tech came, he directly told me the garbage disposal was completely dead and would need to be replaced. Told me he would have the office call next day with a quote. We happened to have a general handyman coming later that day, who was able to immediately correct the apparently simple issue with the garbage disposal. it works fine now. i told the Adept Tech that his diagnosis was obviously wrong, clearly we did not need to pay for a new appliance and installation. The office insisted that they were correct and that I owed them $75 fee for the visit. I would not mind paying a fee for a correct diagnosis. But, the tech was clearly wrong, and just trying to make more money. I told them it was not fair to charge me $75 for inaccurate work and that i should not have to pay. They insisted that it was their right to collect a fee for their time and that I was out of luck. They offered me a discount on a future service!! Why would I call them again for more work when they were clearly wrong about this simple issue???? Very very frustrating. I think it should be standard policy to reveal upfront what the fee is for the visit. and work should be completed at the same. time as first visit. I did not need a tech to come tell me it was not working!! Thats why I called them! And then a handyman fixes it in a few minutes after they told me i needed to spend hundreds of dollars?

The $75 service although added into the bill seems a tad high.

I am very disappointed they came out Tuesday morning advised that the issue was the motherboard. I asked for an estimate to get it fixed/replaced. Was told someone would call me. Normally you would get an estimate then or at least same day. Should be merely a look up in the system of the part cost and labor. No call. Called them Wednesday morning was told would receive a call before 5 because the paperwork has to be reviewed by the manager and there are other folks who have frig issues....and that the manager had to see paperwork to ensure I was not being overcharged. I had not even received a quote to be overcharged. Rep was very condescending...and did not offer good customer service. I called back at 6... left a voice mail and expressed my displeasure and requested a refund. As of this morning I have not received a call or an estimate. I contacted Home Advisor with my complaint they said to write a review, At this point, I just want my money back. I will now have to get someone else to come out and give an estimate and repair my frig. Not what I expected.

Extremely satisfied with company as a whole. Corrected slight issue immediately and made it right.

Paid 75 for an estimate and the answer was not cost effective to fix . By owner. Technician was good

The appliance Tech showed up. Ask questions of what the problem was. Diagnosed it it was a relay switch on my freezer side. Replaced it out the door for $75 done in 35 minutes awesome

Very professional and timely. I thought that they were a little pricey but overall I was satisfied.

Great service had no problems,let me know what problem was and got back to me within hours to order part, then estimate on part installation and courtesy call 30 min. out from repair.

Knowledgeable, friendly and quick. Came out within 2 hours of calling.

They were fast and clean.

I helped my mother find Adept to repair her ice maker about 2 months ago. She has had to pay 3 service calls and the job still is not fixed. I have asked the office how can we make this right and was given a scripted answer. It is a shame that good service is so hard to find. My mother is still unsure that her ice maker will ever get repaired. I wonder if the employees of Adept know what the word means. They have returned some of her money on the service calls.
