Adrian Concrete

Adrian arrived promptly and proposed exactly what I wanted done. To my benefit he was able to start this project one day sooner. From start to finish on this concrete driveway, excellent, his warranty is reassuring, and great price.

Adrian built a new concrete step to my garage. The work was is good and completed in a timely manner. I just wish the communication was better to let me know when they would be working. Overall, it was a good experience and I would hire him again.

I was hesitant to remark at first, but today I found where they had poured out their concrete remains in my backyard. They showed up late with no materials and then went to Home Depot to get the materials. I was expecting them to start between 8:30-9am. They actually started working at about 11am. I mentioned to get the proper primer for use with this product. They bought it, but did not use it. They then diluted the leveling cement with regular concrete. I have no idea if that is going to be an issue later. Given my luck, it will be. Multiple times I told them I needed the surface to be flat for hardwood floor installation, which would entail filling in low spots and flattening high spots. They only filled in low spots, so now I will have to go through with a chisel to flatten the pre-existing high spots. I had originally asked that they apply enough of a coating to make the surface flat, however I did instruct them to not worry about a particular section. They must have misunderstood and decided to neglect other sections as well as the one I mentioned. The "helper" actually seemed to understand what I wanted and the work he did was great, but the job was not completed as I expected. The price was fair for what I contracted them to do, but the end result did not match. Adrian is a nice, folksy guy, but make sure you get everything in writing and make sure that they understand your backyard is not a dumping ground.

Adrian installed a new concrete patio. He haulded away the old wood deck and pavers. It looks great. This time of year, in this area there was a problem getting concrete delivered so I had to wait a few days for the job to be completed, but he told me it would be done by the weekend and it was. I am very pleased with it.

Poorest job of concrete pouring I've seen. Looks like a highschool project. I'll not use home advisor again and recommend others in my congregation avoid as well. I recieved complaints from neighbors of the workers swearing, fighting & sitting on neighbors cars while taking breaks. It will cost $1,000 to re-do the work (when I can afford it). I'll have to cover it with something to hide it until then. Pastor Mayes
