Buyer beware. We initially had a very positive experience with our sales rep and he was super responsive. We also had a good experience with the painting crew on site. They were here 4 full days and we had a full exterior job with brick, siding and trim. Here's where things went nuts. They have a credit card price and a cash price, with checks to be made to Advance. Two days after I wrote them the check for the contract amount for the cash price, I got a call from my sales rep, Carter Newton, to let me know that there was a problem with my check. He said he needed to come out and have me pay the credit card amount (add 3%) because I wrote a check and didn't provide them with actual cash (yes, $100 bills). This job was over $6000! He said that there was a misunderstanding. Cash price only meant cash, not check. Then, after I said there would be no way to record the transaction and validate the 5-year warranty (which is why I picked them over a less expensive provider), he said he would come out, give me my check back that was made out to Advance and I could write another one made out to the owner. The contract specifically states "Make checks payable to Advance." When I contacted them back in writing pointing out the contractual language, I got a voicemail from someone named Mitchell, presumably trying to get me to issue another check. I had given them a "10" rating on site on Saturday when they finished the job. After this, I instructed them to never use that recommendation in their marketing materials. I feel bad for the hardworking crew that did a great job painting the house.

Great to work with. Customer service was excellent. Very responsive to any questions. If there was any changes in the plans, they promptly let me know. Cleaned up after themselves. I was very happy with the quality. Workers were friendly.
