Doors (Exterior) Installation and Replacement

The men that did the work were very friendly and knew what they were doing. I have had steel studs but there was no problem. The project manager in charge of measuring the doors did not do an accurate job. One of the doors that was ordered was not the correct size so Advanced had to come back a week later to install it. I would have been happy if they came back the next day or the day after, not 8 days later

Advance replaced the flat roof on my Wilmington twin/row home. The young man that did my estimate and wrote my contract was very professional and left me confident that I had hired the right company. From there, things went south. The project took much longer than expected; what I was told in the estimate did not agree with what the project manager was willing to do; several mistakes were made in the measurements; communication back to the customer (me!) was terrible. When these issues were raised with the company, I was not even given an apology. My recommendation is to write EVERY DETAIL into your contract if you dare go with Advance.

in contract he put 2 sunview patio doors 600 series and he installed guardian patio doors and in final invoice he didn't mention anything about installing patio doors and gutters, if you want i can fax the copy of the contract and final invoice he gave us after the work is being completed.patio doors are leaking air from unerneath sliding doors plus sliding doors ifself has storm drains which i have never seen and leaking air from there too.in family room flap on the side of sliding door is upside down which is bringing lot of cold air in winter. he agreed to send somebody to recock the door and we haven't heard from him in last two weeks.

Gave them a deposit and not here from the them for nearly three weeks, I had to call them and ask what was going on. they told me they have to order the materials for the job, and said they would get back to me. That did not happen, until I contacted them. this is a poor way to run any business.

Advance roofing did an excellent job with my flat roof. The work was completed on schedule. Two service managers stopped by during the day to ensure the work was to my satisfaction. The pricing was significantly better than a local competitor that offers similar guarantees about the work.
