About us
Advance Look is Alaska's only "start to finish"? Indoor Environmental Consulting company. We retain a State of Alaska Home Inspectors license allowing us to perform buyers and sellers existing home inspections and work with real estate transaction environmental issues in compliance with Alaska Licensing Regulations. Were commonly referred to as a "buyers inspector" (ie:very detailed inspections). With our qualifications we are able to see indoor environmental projects through from the very first client contact to the final clearances. We work for the project owner and are independent from any remediation or abatement firm. Advance Look strives to assure clients they are getting the "best practices"? from our consultation and from any 3rd party remediation or abatement company they choose for their project. Advance Look also provides consultation to remediation companies to assure they are following the ANSI/IICRC S520 Mold Remediation Standards for a litigious free remediation project.

"I did not do any work for this customer, she advised she was not looking for services. However she stated someone was coming to "clean up" the mold so I offered free advise on making sure she confirmed with them they would remove the mold, not "clean it up" as that is a scam method and normally involves the attempts to bleach and kill the mold, which is not acceptable. There were infants and kids making noises in the background, I don't want any more sick kids from uninformed contractors doing the wrong thing!! Also, a 4.0 for the cost of services is a bit low considering there was never a single word about our service fees and the homeadvisor system even hit me lower by changing a 4.3 average to a 3.0???? What the heck??"
"There are reasons for being late, not excuses!! I informed the realtor via email early in the morning that there was a delay causing the schedule change, I apologized for that message not getting to them on time. The end cost of the project was 50% less than the customer expected and that final price reflected a 20% discount for having been late the first time."
