I've been one of the top real estate brokers in Seattle and diverted from my usual recommended company for this one because of timing. It was an easy move from a Queen Anne condo with a stop in Port Orchard (to drop off 10 boxes and art work) then the remainder to a storage locker. The movers had expedient service although there was a serious discrepancy between the movers and myself about what items where to be delivered where and how they were to be position within the storage locker. However, the owner bent over backwards and paid out of his pocket to have two movers come down and re-arrange a portion of the locker. I would have liked a tighter bid.

Awesome job on a cool, rainy Saturday. Jason led the 3 -man crew and did a great job of preparing the furniture for the move and doing the move itself. Very fast and efficient - I strongly recommend these guys!

Review on HomeAdvisor.com: I scheduled for 2pm on Saturday as a firm, set, time and the movers showed up at 12:30 pm. The office manager/boss wanted to charge me a three-hour minimum on both days at $69.99 per hour for two guys for both days. Do not use this company. They do not stick to what they say and are not well managed. When you speak on the phone they sound like they are on the moon, the connection is not very good and there is a lot of background noise, not very professional. The movers were great, but the office manager/ booker is not very professional.

Another last minute situation I'd gotten into while buying a new house. On VERY short notice they quoted me a fair price. However, I did feel that near the end even though some items where clearly marked they placed them in random places. Other than that. Very good and very fast.

What a fabulous business! From the moment I contacted them until they finished it was an A1 exceptional experience. Had several hiccups on our house closing so had to cancel move a couple of times. They worked with me the whole way through. From the moment they arrived they were fast and efficient. I can't say enough good things about ARE. You can't go wrong hiring them. I highly recommend!!!

After posting my review you can see Advance Relocation's response. He would "move the remaining items at no cost." Made contact and he said he had a truck going north and his crew would stop by and get my items. Almost 3 weeks now, the trip north cancelled on him and now he wants $420 to move the remaining items. Obviously, he doesn't keep his word even after posting it. Austine Thompson of ADVANCE RELOCATION EXPERTS called me, I gave him the details of moving a 3 bedroom house with a garage full of equipment. He quoted me $1900 and 2 men , he never came to inspect the house, I also asked for some boxes and he said it would be $30. 3 men came with a 26 foot truck, they couldn't load half the house. When the truck was full, went to new location and offloaded. The Driver said it would be $2700 plus $331 for the boxes, COMING TO OVER $3000 Come to find out the $30 was a delivery charge. He wanted another $1100 to get the remaining furniture. He sounded so great and understanding on the phone, boy was I taken in. If this is the type of pro's on Home Advisor I just won't use the service. My previous experiences have been great. This business does not belong on this website. 28 years in the Navy and I've had a lot of moves, but, this was the worst experience I've ever had. If he ever calls to offer services, RUN!!!! I've been ripped off before, but, this guy is a real pro at it. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. The driver was even embarrassed when he gave me the totals.

"I appreciate your honest review and want to explain but am limited to the amount of text here to answer your questions yes I gave you a phone quote because you guys were out of town and I explained to your wife that it cost me to send my driver to deliver the boxes I payed $80 plus $30 gas and only charged you $60 as per the move my driver estimated a 12 hrs day which came out to be 13hrs plus $332 for materials which I sent you $180 of that back as agreed to charge you cost on boxes as per the move I am willing to help finish what's left at the house if we arrange it"

Extremely impressed with Advance Relocation Expert, LLC. All of my questions were answered, details and costs provided, and the work was completed exactly as promised. All calls were promptly returned. There were no miscommunications or "surprises". The people doing the work (moving) were prompt, courteous, and very efficient and polite. From beginning to end (planning, committing, moving, payment, etc.) I was completely impressed with their service.

This company is awful the guy is still not at my house and I already waited an hour, he said he would be another hour. They wanted to charge my card in advance then told me I need the money upfront.He said they were charging me for 3 guys when I first called now he says he only has 1 guy to send! I want nothing to do with this company I just wanted to make sure they weren't going to charge my card.

I was quoted $390.00 for moving me 1.2 miles. When the Salesman (Mike) came to see me the day I was moving and had the pack some boxes, he quoted $840.00 for the packing and $840.00 for the move. I will never recommend this company. I am completely dissatisfied with this company.

"Hello my Name is Austine thompson I actually talked to you over the phone initially when you called you only wanted us to move you not pack I explained to you how much we charged and which was $65 per men per hour at two guys for 3 hour minimum is $390 we later got a call from you that you wanted help packing without looking at what you have it's almost impossible to tell you exactly how much things will cost exactly so I sent an estimator to look at what you had he estimated it and 3 guys packed up the apartment in a 4 hours minimum and I even wanted to see if we could move you the same day to avoid the guys coming the next day because that would cost another minimum but due to the fact that you couldn't move it that that I sent 3 guys to you the next day which I only charged you for two guys I will contact you to see what our company can do to meet each other half way I believe he explained every charge to you during the estimate but I really apologize for any inconvenience or miscommunication I hope to talk to you soon"
