I do not recommend advance remodel, hire at your own risk! We hired them to extend (add-on) and redo our kitchen. Very poor communication; the contractors did not show up when scheduled. On 5 Dec we signed an addendum that said a customer needs the copy of plans ASAP we never received any plans. We continued to ask for a national schedule and never received one - the job started on 7 Dec 18 and the final inspection was completed on 22 Feb 19. It could have been done much earlier but there were several days where no one showed up to work. The drywall crew did not clean up when they left and they did not cover the heat vents and the plastic separating the work area had come down causing drywall to swirl around when the heat came on. We had to block the vents with towels (some did not have covers yet) and try to re-attach the plastic the best we could. I sent an email and left a message for Advance to call and I did not hear back so I called Advance the next morning and let them know that I expected someone to come and clean up the mess; when I returned home no-one came to clean and I called Advance again and was told they did not have anyone to come to clean up the mess and in fact, they did not know who the drywall crew was - but he did try to contact the carpenter several times. They did not know who the drywall crew was which had me concerned so I asked (1) Are they licensed? (2) Is there any type of background check done on these individuals that you have given unfettered access to my home? No good response. We ended up having to clean up the mess as we did not want drywall dust to continue to circulate through the house. Other workers did not clean up after themselves and tracked mud in my house and left their trash for us to clean up. We were left with no heat one cold night because a wire had been cut through and blew a fuse in the heat/AC unit thinking back -they should have called someone that evening to fix it. One of their contractors failed to lock my door. Insulation team did not show up as scheduled and without warning, they showed up at 0600 on a Monday morning. Contractor was a no show for the final county plumbing inspection. They left two contractor bags full of trash for over a week. On 4 Feb I received a phone call from Advance letting me know that they were done and wanted to know how I liked it. I let them know they are not done â we still had several problems with the cabinets; granite did not cover cabinet in one spot, gauged part of our driveway with the container full of concrete, there was still drywall tape visible in the ceiling -drywall crew did a terrible job, holes in the ceiling where the lights were installed, several outlet plates were crooked, hole in the bedroom where smoke detector was installed, dryer bent, exposed spliced wires in basement where they were cut during the build of the extension, final county inspections not complete. No-one came by to check all this, instead, they aske

We had the pleasure of hiring Advance Remodeling to complete our kitchen remodel. We worked with a fantastic team throughout the entire project, they were very knowledgeable and guided us through a quite tedious and cumbersome remodeling project. Team was easy to work with, courteous, and truly professional, they were very honest and completed the project on time. We were very satisfied with the quality of work that they did, attention to detail, and pride that they take in their work. I would have no hesitation in rehiring this company!

We had our kitchen remodeled with Advance Remodeling. Thanks to staff, the whole project went smoothly, We were able even to stay in our two-bedroom apartment during the whole project with minimum inconvenience. Our old kitchen was completely demolished and replaced with a new one! Make your client happy' is their credo! And we are happy and do enjoy our new kitchen.

Concrete Patios, Walks & Steps Installation
Poor communications with customer. Never knew when they would show up. Poured unleveled concrete on patio, promising all would be to code, un-leveled my Outside AC Unit, which was reset on wet concrete now causing a water run off and settlement problem. Workers could not speak English and avoided any questions. Left nails exposed on replacement deck. Did not clean up site for waste but instead spread it around my property for me to find later and clean up. I paid this company cash as scheduled in good faith. I recommend stay away from this organization. Cash is the priority not your services. Recommend holding final payment, the hell with good intentions. Advance Remodeling has none. Pay final installment only at job satisfaction, if that's 1 week or 12 weeks, (whatever ). It's all about the money, not the work preformed. Take them to court. They got me good this go round. $14,000, P.S. Tom, their Rep, shame on you. No follow up. 6/5/18 got your check and 6/12/18 still waiting for follow up on concerns. Awaiting your !

They were very professional. They answered all of my questions and concerns. They showed me my options to make my project code compliant. They removed my old damaged concrete porch and replaced it with a new deck with steps. I am very pleased with the result.

I felt I was misled by the salesman. the workers did not show up on time and then only worked a couple of hours per day. My project was supposed to take 7 days, it took 14. They did not communicate to me that they could not put a regular size sink on my wall, instead they put up this tiny sink , and I was not pleased at all!

Shower Installation and Replacement
$8,000
Run as fast as you can in the opposite direction from Advance Remodeling. I wish I could go back in time and not sign that contract with them to install a shower in my master bathroom. It took them 2 different showers and 4 installs before they finally got it right. It also took them 5 times longer to complete the project then indicated.
Response from Advance Remodeling, Inc.
"We apologize that this job did not go nearly as well as the vast majority of our jobs do. We have been doing this type of work for over 25 years and have more than satisfied 99% of our customers, but we find that every now and then, one job will have problem after problem. As we always do, we have ?stuck with it? on this job and it is ?right? at this point. We have learned from the mistakes we made here and have used this as a ?teaching moment? for our staff. Again, we apologize to Eric and his brother that their project did not proceed the way we all wanted it to."
