I am so pleased with my new porch section, stairs and side walk leading to the driveway. We have an older house and this just brings it up a 'level". Robert Tighe is easy to work with, knowledgeable, experienced in his craft, open and honest. His two man crew of young men were amazing. Skilled at their craft, obviously enjoyed their work and took pride in their product and outcomes. Quality work for the dollars. Beautiful look. And they even recommended a good quality paint and color for when we paint the porch. The two day project was as non disruptive as it could be given an entrance was blocked for a segment of time. The work site was cleaned at the end of each day and left spotless. Customer service, clear communication and promptness exceptional. And Yes, I plan to use this family owned and ran company and crew in the spring for another project. Well worth the rating of a 5.

Refurbishing the garage floor, with a sturdier coating and brighter color, was the primary project. Now with a much brighter garage, the result exceeded both my wife's and my expectation. We are convinced this has enhanced the value of the house. Other projects included powerwashing and sealing, for the first time in 20 years, the driveway and the backdoor patio. This was also done to the brickwork around the front garden and the patio. This is a family business, father and sons, who "take their craft extremely seriously", as highlighted by another customer.

Quick to reply and easy to work with. They were clear and direct with all communication and followed up with everything they said they would.

After paying ACF in full upon their request and prior to them finishing the project, (one of many mistakes in working with ACF) and after waiting over 13 weeks for them to finish paid for and promised work the project is still not completed. They made many promises to finish but we have not seen them or herd from them in 13weeks. This company makes many promises and commitments but has a lack in following up and no professional communication skills. I would not recommend this crew to my worst enemy. I am disappointed in the end results and disappointed in the entire process of working with ACF. This is not a company that follows up or is committed to doing the job.

We had septic issues that required removal of the original sidewalk and rerouting the old walkway. Robert and his crew did a wonderful job and made the new sidewalk much better than the old one!!! Would highly recommend them for quality and price!!

The company contacted us very quickly after we placed the Home Advisor request. Came out the next day to review job request and site. Bid was within range of other bids and due to professionalism and job recommendations that we had not thought of, we went with ACF. The job was professional from the very beginning. Excellent craftsmanship, job site care and clean up after. If you are looking for any concrete work, we would highly advise contacting Advanced Concrete Finishing.

Got an estimate for concrete work - pouring an addition to existing patio. Estimate was $4200. Show up and started the work then change the price and said he would have to charge $5600. Wow! A $1400 mistake in an estimate! Says he is been in business for 40 years; who has been in business that long and misses an estimate by 33 percent! That is the worst business practice I have ever seen. BUYER BEWARE. Clearly, having him come out for an estimate is a waste of time. Very poor business practice.

I could go on for days on how happy I am with the work, Robert and his guys, did. I was first impressed with how quickly Robert responded. He was at my house that day with great advise and was easy to talk with. He was straight forward and kind. We excepted his quote. The very next day! He stopped by with his crew, which by the way were the nicest people. They got right to work and even welcomed my Pinterest ideas. They were all happy to accommodate. He even gave my hubs the option to stain the existing concrete, so the guys cleaned it for us. Now I just wish I got a before picture because my patio is beautiful!

Robert and his crew are real professionals. I have had concrete work done here in the area in the past which was more expensive where the contractor used part time help. ACF's crew appear to be full time and experienced. I gave Robert a drawing of what I wanted for a sidewalk and patio. It had a lot of curves. When ACF finished the job, it looked so much better than my drawing and I have received a lot of comments from my neighbors. In fact, ACF's trucks were at one of my neighbor's house the next day. I guess that really shows that my neighbors really liked what they saw. I would recommend ACF to all of my friends and neighbors

We hired him to provide a beautiful finished floor for our basement. First the owner, gave me a quote that was a $1000 more than his competitor, but I went with him bc I have a new baby, my husband is deployed, and he said that part of the quote was helping us move furniture in the basement. I took a week of leave myself just to make sure it went smoothly. He showed me pictures on his phone of a finish that we agreed on, he stated my floors were going to have a high gloss shine. Later I found out that the picture was an epoxy coating. His quote was for a concrete layover. The first day of work (supposed to take no longer than 3-4 day s), they show up appalled that I have not moved any furniture. He shamed me so thoroughly that I asked my teenagers to stay home from school and all of us jumped in to help move. Then he grinds the current finish off my floor and comes to show me paint samples. Mind you I had asked him to come a day prior to starting to finalize details since a month had elapsed between the quote and start date. He did not do that. Now it is day one, and he brings out a flat paint color? At this point I FaceTimed my husband and told him that the company is doing a bait and switch on me. The owner freaks out. After I hung up with my husband he accuses me of acting like a girl, I asked him how much I owed him for taking the coating off bc I wanted him to leave. He insists he can make me happy, but at the same time keeps stating he can not keep up with the pictures on Pinterest. I keep reiterating that these pictures came off his phone. Supposedly were jobs he did!! He swears he can make me happy, I wish I had just ended it there. So they bring a more expensive piece of equipment in to polish the concrete. Only he does not explain the process or that you usually do not use this equipment in residences. He just goes to work and tells me that I am going to owe him a thank-you card when he is finished. The equipment kicked up so much concrete dust and debris that I had to put towels underneath the door leading up to the main floor and still the dust went through the air ducts affecting the air quality in our home and affecting the baby. They ground the floor down to where you could see pebbles in the floor, huge air pockets and divets were also exposed. They did not go around the borders of the wall with a smaller sander so all the previous concrete paint clung to the borders. Then they crudely applied a stain to the concrete splashing stain over the white baseboards and newly painted bedroom walls. At this point we are on day three and only half of my basement is done. Keep in mind the owner leaves the job multiple times a day to go bid on other jobs; then he springs on me that they will not be there on day four because they have another job they need to start. I explain to him that I am not happy with the current finish on the floor. It literally looks like the inside of a car garage, oily and dirty. He and his son try to convince me it has a cool industrial look to it. I use the fourth day to bring in other concrete companies to give me a second opinion. They validated my concern. They told me you do not bring that kind of heavy-duty equipment into a residence bc of the dust, they also pointed out flaws that I had not even noticed both with sloppy preparation and with the obvious holes in my floor. I asked how much to fix the floor and came to the realization that I did not have the resources to do it. Therefore, I was going to have to allow this company to finish the other half, so I could have a consistent finish throughout and so that I could have my life back. I just wanted this process to be over with so the kids could move back into their bedrooms, ugly floor and all. The next morning, day 5 the owner shows up to remove his equipment and quits bc he s butt hurt that I had a second opinion. He rants about how much money he has, and he does not need this kind...

Worst mistake I made! I went on Home Advisor to try to find someone to help me with my driveway. Advanced Concrete called me right away - on a Sunday. That should have been my first red flag, especially when everyone else was booked a month in advance. When they came to measure and to give an estimate, everything went well. When they came back to do the job, the downsized my driveway by a foot across (originally my drive was a minimum 10? across now it?s 9?), and they increased their quote by $700 (I did get a $200 discount because of my neighbors). The quality of the job was less than par - part of the driveway was only an inch thick. They went below the grade of the land, and now I have an erosion problem. They promised to bring rock by to help with the erosion problem but never delivered. Their language is horrendous when you challenge them of their work. And, my neighbors hired them, and they did a crappy job with their driveway as well as tore up our grass. I could go into more detail, but I hope if you are reading, you can make an informed decision.

Robert and crew were very professional. They had the right equipment, they showed up on time and did quality work for a fair price. Highly recommended.

Initial design of my driveway was clearly and specifically relayed to the owner of Advanced Concrete prior to the day of pouring the concrete. On the day of forming the driveway and pouring the concrete the owner took it upon himself to redesign what I wanted and paid for. Before he placed the form I reiterated the design we agreed upon and the owner proceeds to tell me you're not gonna be one of those homeowners telling me what to do or I'll pack up my equipment and leave. I should have let him go but I was home on leave from a deployment in the Middle East and was pressed for time, so, I again had to reiterate what I expected to be completed. He had a problem with it but did most of what I wanted completed. Also, when placing the brush finish on to of the fresh concrete there is a section that he personally brushed that doesn't match the rest of the driveway. Lastly, they were to return and seal the concrete but refused to because a tree had dropped particles on the driveway. I would recommend a different company, one that does the job they agreed to do and one that appreciates their clients.

Awesome experience with these folks. Impeccable customer service which is a rarity anymore. Quick and friendly. Very pleased with the end results. Five stars!!!
