Mr. Donald was very courteous and knowledgeable of his work, and his own capabilities. He gave me an estimate of what was involved with the tearing down of my old home place, and when to expect the project to be completed. He finished ahead of time, and was very diligent about cleaning up the area once he was finished. I explained to him at the start that my mother had just passed away a few weeks ago, and my sister and I made the decision to knock down the house, rather than deal with the cost of bringing the nearly 60 year old home back into code, along with other environmental issues. I also asked that he be careful around a large fruit tree (satsuma) that bordered the house, and explained it was not the time of year to have to transplant the large tree. He was indeed careful around the tree, being very meticulous not to even touch any of the branches which were full with fruit. I appreciated the fact that he had a very strong work ethic, arriving early in the morning - usually between 5:30 and 6:00. Once he arrived, he was no nonsense and got to work almost immediately. Whenever he had a question, he stopped his operations, called me and then continued. He normally worked a 10 to 12 hour day. He told me at the start that he had been in the business 10-12 years and that he felt he knew what was needed to thorough job. He was absolutely correct, and kept at the work with a steady, "can-do" attitude. I believe any customer would be satisfied with his skill level and his experience. I would not hesitate to hire him again should a similar project arise.
