I set up an appointment with one person who then called at the last minute and sent someone else. The other person did nothing but left a quote for insulating the attic... said everything else was fine. Didnt address weather striping around doors and said windows were fine (they arent energy efficient at all). His quote for insulation was 3xs higher then the A/C company had given me 3 weeks beforehand. A total waste of time and I still have no idea of other areas that might need improving to conserve energy.

"Customer signed up for Home Energy Audit. When we contacted him he said he needed attic insulation. We referred a reputable company who did that. There was no fee for them to go out. He didn't want to pay our fee for a comprehensive Home energy audit. Some people offer them for free. That is not us. We charge $300 for an investment grade audit. Prices vary on clipboard visual audits."

Larry came out for three hours and checked mainly for energy savings hints. He said he would send us a report and he charged $79.00 for three hours. We have not heard from him again. I dont know what his game is. It is hard to figure out.

"Customer signed up for IAQ test. The cost is $300. Upon arrival, I realized he did not need an indoor air quality test. I inspected his home for 3 hours for $79. That should tell you something. I went over all findings, made recommendations, told him like I do everyone. Do what I have told you. If you do not see a difference with a short time, let me know. If you know someone who will thoroughly audit your home for $79, please let us know. I saved him an air quality test fee if $300. Why? He didn't need it! There is no game. I am not up to anything. I am a generous guy who did you a favor. Recognize it for what it is. It was a short list"

Larry Wallace is a very honest, experienced pro. Larry took me around my house & gave me tips on small things to do myself to help with keeping my house tight. Larry gave me more insullation than I asked for at no additional cost for my attic.. He also did some repairs in my attic and some really nice, needed repairs & extras at no additional cost. Larry was on time & finished the job in 2 hours. my house is 2,100 sq ft & Larry installed more than the R44 I requested at $900.00 less than his competitors & used top notch, formaldehyde free insulation the other competitors aren't using. Don't waste any of your time. Call Larry. I think you will be satisfied *****

He did not give me the results and I waited for the results, he never came. Homeadvisor had to step in to get the results. He did not come speak to me about he results and it took 2 weeks when he said 3-4 days.
