had a roof replaced in 2018. Found a problem 8 years later and out of warranty. Advanced Exterior took ownership and repaired the damage. Outstanding company. I will recommend them to anyone looking for a roof replacement.

It took forever for them to set a date to set up a date to complete my roof and the day before the project was to start it snowed. The crew showed up around 11:00 and stood outside our house for hours and then they left. No word from them or A&E. The next day they showed up around 11:00 and started to shovel the snow off the roof. They only had one snow shovel, so we lent them one of ours. Not too far in trying to clear the roof, they pushed a box of shingles off the roof that landed on our deck and broke our glass table. The next day they didnâ t even show up and I called the office and they said they had received word from the roofers that we asked them not to come back. Yes, I would have loved to not have them come back, but we were on a time crunch. The crew showed up around noon that same day and I had asked the company to have them remove the broken glass from our deck. Ha ha, they moved it from the deck to one of our flowerbedsâ ¦Day 4 they didnâ t show up and I called the office and she told me the crew had said they completed the roof! I had to actually send her pictures of the incomplete roof and the glass in the flowerbeds. She said they had had trouble with this crew before??! Finally, later that day they sent out another crew that completed our roof. We had to delay a trip to Phoenix because they didnâ t complete the project within the 1 day timeframe the project manager had quoted, because there was no way I would leave and have them still working on the roof when I wasnâ t home. They never cleaned the glass out of the flower beds! When I got their invoice I paid it, but it didnâ t seem right, so I asked my insurance company what I should have paid them and they said I paid 1600.00 over. I contacted A&E and was told the insurance company would not know what I should pay them. I asked for arbitration and of course it came back that the insurance company was wrong and I had paid the correct amount. When the roof was completed I went around the house and picked up an entire jar of nail that were left behind. Very sloppy work and I am still finding nails 5 months later. I even wrote the CEO of the company expressing my displeasure with his company and never received a response! Will never recommend this company and have talked to homeowners in my neighborhood and let them know of my experience! Such a shoddy company!

I called Advanced Exteriors for a second opinion and Sean Tillotson came to our home to assess the damage. Not only was our roof damaged but we had gutter, paint, and windows damaged. Sean was able to resubmit everything back to insurance and everything got paid. They did an excellent job restoring our home. Thank you! I would highly recommend!

Process was very easy, well explained and well managed right from the start. No problems or unexpected glitches. Work was performed how and when promised. Quality of materials and work very good. Very satisfied with the whole experience.

My experience with Advanced Exterior. By far the worst company I have ever dealt with. Roof was scheduled to be installed. Materials dropped off in the front yard without notice or any communication. Yard destroyed by truck and equipment. Roof was scheduled for next day. Next day no call no show. Materials still in the front yard till the next week. Then out of nowhere, we hear foot steps on our roof the following week at 7am. Dogs are going crazy. Have the workers pinned on the roof, we thought someone was breaking into the house. I called Kent our sales rep. with Advanced Exteriors and he said they had to reschedule. NO ONE called us, no one informed us the job was rescheduled. Not a big deal, unless. The day they finally did show up was the following morning when we brought our WEEKs OLD twins home from the NICU. We had no sleep, two premature babies we finally got to sleep 30 minutes before they were stripping the roof. Once again, ZERO communication. The roofers completed most of the roof that late night and said they would be back the next day to clean up. That did not happen. They walked around the yard with their cellphones trying to pick up the big debris. They left all the nails, small scraps, staples, i.eâ ¦ our yard was trashed, and they just left. They sent 1 guy back the next day. I asked him where reset of the crew was and he said they pulled them to do another job and he was left there all day to finish up. Once again job not completed, the 1 lone guy walked around the yard for 5 minutes with his cell phone cleaning up. Yard still trashed. Nails, staples, felt and shingles everywhere. I picked it up the next day because we had to get the dogs out. So, only the roof is done. They were to do a complete job, roof, siding, garage doors, trim, a complete job from the horrible hail storm. About 2 months go by and I get a call from Kent. Why have you not sent in payment. My response was why have you not completed the job? He said it was done per his notes. I send him pictures of everything not completed. He sends an apology text message and will have crews out to finish the job. Two more weeks go by and once again, the gutter guys are now on the roof, no call, no appointment, no FYI, Zero communication. The dogs are going crazy, the babies are screaming and I am running around trying to figure out what is going on. The job the gutter guys completed is horrendous. Easily the worst job I have ever seen. See attached pics. Fast forward another month. I call Kent and ask when they are completing the job. He again says its already done. I send him a dozen more pics of things wrong and or not completed. He again apologizes at least this time is by phone and not text message. He says crews will be out to finish up on Thursday. Yep, you guessed it, no call no show. Please save yourself the heartache and continue shopping. A.E. did one of the worst jobs I have ever seen.

This was difficult from the start. I still have issues and more damage as the responsiveness of the company is in question. They use excuses to even come look at the issues and 2 more storms have undone all the work I have put in to fix the interior. My insurance was non-renewed and I cannot make another claim or risk a 30K a year bill to get insured. The roof that was repaired was not up to code, and although Advanced fixed it, they initially did the work not to code. They ignored the shearing being over an inch out of compliance and failed to notify me. They simply applied the new roof over the shearing. This was after completely stripping the roof and repairing/replacing some of the shearing in other areas. The roof leaks during just about every storm and snow fills my attic, I have contacted them several times and was told I would have to wait until there was no more snow. The roads have been clear for weeks, I have heard nothing. I will be forced to take further legal action. This is still ongoing, I have saved all emails and texts, including telling me this would be fixed under warranty. I am perplexed and disappointed. If I am forced to go to court over all this, I will be going after their license to work here in Colorado.

The roof is worse than before the replacement. The company is ignoring us. I have snow accumulating in my attic. The interior of the house is now stained from water damage. I get excuses as to why they cannot come to fix it. The inspector originally rejected the work. The company stripped the roof to the shearing and ignored the fact it was over an inch out of code. They eventually got it bought off, but it is Mickey Moused.

We are very satisfied with our experience with using AE as our general contractor for the repairs to our house following the catastrophic hail storm that hit Fountain, Colorado on 13 June 2018, and would recommend them to anyone. They were doing the same work for a neighbor whose judgement I trust because, like me, he is very picky and exacting. Tony Turner offered to give us a free estimate, and we ended up signing a contract with AE. They are experienced in dealing with the insurance companies and inspectors. Tony was present when the USAA claims inspector came, and helped me make sure everything was completely documented. The initial settlement estimate from USAA was enough to cover all repairs, and we didn't have to argue for additional money. We got a new roof which is not only far better than our old one, but better than the new roofs many of our neighbors have. The materials have a true 50-year transferable warranty. We got all new windows which were far better than the original ones, new gutters, exterior paint, new garage door, and refinished our fence and deck. Everything was done well, in a timely manner, and within the budget of our claim settlement funds. Every item was replaced or repaired better than it was before, which has increased the resale value of our house. One huge advantage of using AE as a general contractor for the work covered by our insurance claim is that we did not have to pay any costs up front for materials, etc., which we couldn't have done. It took 6 months for our mortgage company to release our claim settlement funds, but AE was able to wait to be paid in full in one lump sum. The fact that they are an established and reputable company whose main office is in Denver means that, unlike many of the fly-by-night roofers and contractors who flocked to the area after the storm, they will be here to stand behind their work, including that of their subcontractors.

Advanced turned a miserable experience into a win for us. We needed a new roof & siding after the May 2017 hail storm. We met with a few contractors and carefully selected a local one with a solid reputation. We found out 4 months later they subcontracted out our roofing job to an out-of-state storm chaser. The subcontractor was terrible. They cashed our $7K deposit check in early June & 4 months in, they still hadn't even given an estimate to our insurance. We knew everyone was busy, so we weren't expecting work to start right away, but we needed them to at least get the estimate to our insurance. When they finally did, the measurements were wrong and they missed a lot of things. They would not return calls or emails. We told them we wanted our deposit back and tear up the contract we signed, which got their attention, but they refused. We got a recommendation for Advanced from another contractor, so we called. They sent out 2 fantastic reps right away (Andrew & Andrew) to meet with us. We told them our story and that we might not be able to hire Advanced because we were stuck in this contract with the subcontractor. Andrew & Andrew were incredibly helpful when we showed them the estimate. They found several mistakes, including some violations of CO codes - since they were from another state, they didn't know CO codes. Andrew & Andrew showed us the exact CO statues they had violated. They told us that the contract was invalid as a result, so we should legally be able to get out of it. Armed with this info, we contacted the subcontractor again with precise language regarding the violations and demanded that we receive our deposit back & terminate the contract. They finally agreed. Without Andrew & Andrew's help, we would have had to hire an attorney to get out of the contract. They helped us even knowing we might not hire them. From the moment we signed with Advanced, our experience was a complete opposite - our interactions with everyone at Advanced were fantastic - everyone was responsive and communication was excellent. They submitted a much more accurate estimate for $10K higher than the sub to do the siding & roof, which our insurance accepted without question. The work was done quickly and professionally and the techs were all polite and cleaned up after the jobs. After wasting an incredible amount of time and energy dealing with the sub, Advanced turned our miserable experience into a solid win. We would 100% recommend them for roofing & siding.

I highly recommend Advanced Exteriors for any and all home damage you might have! With all the recent hail storms (2018), we were bombarded with calls, door knockers, and solicitations. I knew to avoid most of those, so I asked my insurance agent to recommend someone. They gave me a few, and I started calling. Andrew from A.E. answered my call and was the only one who would come that day to do an initial assessment. They fixed a few things and discussed the damage with me. They have been by my side though the entire process, just a quick text message or phone call away. They came the day the insurance adjuster came to do an estimate and sat with me at the table to discuss damages. Seeing as how AE had MY best interests in mind, they worked with the adjuster to make sure I was getting everything repaired. They expertly handled all the “behind the scenes” that I didn’t know about (like when I got a letter from the city saying a permit had been issued). Getting repairs done to your roof, home, and property takes time. I was impatient until all the extra stuff was explained to me. They have worked with adjusters to get my deck done the way it’s meant to be, not what insurance thinks it should be (which was way less than what’s actually needed). Andrew worked with the glass company to do replacements on a Saturday so that I didn’t need to take more time off work to be home during the week. I honestly think you will be very pleased with their work. I would recommend them without hesitation. I appreciate all the time they took to explain the process to me and ease my burdens.

Please do not trust this company. I highly recommend using any other companies to provide the exact same service. We do not recommend this company to anyone, that's how strongly I feel about this company. We had AE replace our roof a couple years back. The sales guy was super friendly, but after the job started, I feel like it would be courteous for someone to update us on insurance process or if we had additional questions. We had a siding that was ripped off when the guys were pulling up the roof. They told us about it, apologized and said they would put it in the notes. They glued it back on. When that piece fell off, they told us that this is not part of the warranty because it was damaged before they came - complete false! They noted something differently. Yes, very upsetting and distrusting. Also, the coverings over the pipes on the top of the roof (not too sure the correct part term) were deteriorating after 2 years. We had them come out to replace them on May 7, 2018. It has already deteriorated again (today is July 31, 2018), we put trust in this company to provide the best service, quality product and honesty. However. We've got none. Absolutely disappointing. If I can do it again, I would have chose a different company to do this job.

It was very good. They cleaned up after themselves. They did it in one and a half day. The guy I have worked with is John Mahoney and he is very helpful as he could be. I have already recommended him to someone.

They were 10/10, they provided excellent service. I will be using them in the future.

I am pleased with the quality, care and follow up that Advanced Exteriors provided for the work they did on my two properties after the hail storm last year. The storm damaged my roofs, gutters and other areas of the properties. I believe in supporting local businesses and by using an established company from Colorado I know there will be someone I can contact for any need or concern. My rep Andrew Graves was extremely knowledgeable, answered all of my concerns, always followed up quickly and took care of it all! He and the company worked directly with my insurance company, which made everything easier. After the jobs were completed they sent their own quality control person to inspect the work. Chris found a few issues that didn’t meet his standards and had them corrected. These were things I wouldn’t have even been aware of. It did take a while for the jobs to be completed since this storm was catastrophic. So many properties were damaged and everyone needed repair at the same time, along with a few weather delays. In all, I feel that Advanced Exteriors is honest and dedicated to providing quality work to their customers. I would use them again!

We were grateful to find a company to do a small exterior job for us. They were efficient and well priced. So glad to have found them through home advisor!

This is the 2nd time in a year I've replaced my shingle roof due to hail damage. Advanced did a great job on both occasions and were in and done in one day(tearoff and reroof). Bill Davis, the company rep, actually called me the day after the May 2017 storm to see if I needed emergency repairs. He worked closely with the insurance adjuster on both occasions and was present when the inspection was done to make sure all damage was noted. On the prior replacement there were some communication problems with the scheduler but these were addressed and corrected. No problems with schedules this time. Great company to work with.

I had extensive hail damage to my home in 2016 and called Advanced Exteriors for assistance. Pasha came to the house and did an excellent job identifying the issues caused by the hail damage as well as working with he insurance company to get the repairs covered. The repairs were done in a timely and professional manner. Everyone I worked with from the company did a fantastic job. After the work was completed there was an issue with my being able to pay the bill in a timely manner, which was due to a legal issue. Dana in the office was wonderful in assisting me with this issue and took that extra time to meet my needs. I cannot say enough about this company. I would use them again and would always give there name as a referral to family and friends. Excellent company!!!!

Robert Krouse called ahead to let me know he was on his way to the property. He examined the roof of one of my client's and explained his findings saying that some repairs might be necessary but that the roof had at lease 10 more years of life and he provided a 5-year certification. He was professional and knowledgeable. I will always call Robert first for any roofing repairs and replacements.
