DO NOT HIRE THIS PERSON!!! I hired Mr. Barlow and his team to repair drywall through out my entire house. He gave me a timeline of 3 weeks to complete the job. So I started out giving him his down payment of $3000. 3 weeks went by and all he completed was the living room. The entire time he kept promising me, I have more guys coming tomorrow. However the entire project he only had one person working on a 4000 sq ft home. So after the 3 weeks he said I promise to finish it this week and will have 4 guys daily to knock it out but I need another $2000 to be able to pay the guys. Me being on a tight schedule and in a tight spot, I gave him the money. Then, surprise surprise. No one shows up at all! All week. So I had to kick them off the job and ask for my 2k back. Which at first he agreed to but then he just ignored me and disappeared. Never returned my money. So I was charged $5000 just to repair a living room. And Yes I do feel bad in case you are wondering! Mr Barlow may come off as a nice kind old man. And he may be ok for smaller jobs. Like a room or two. But please do not hire this company if it's more than than. I'm currently in a process to get my money back.

Mr Barlow and his team were very professional, reliable and did high quality work. I hired Advanced Plastering and Painting to do a large amount of plaster repair on a large historic home I was renovating. It was a pleasure to work with Mr Barlow.

Great workmanship

Hired him for plastering job, he was so good at his craft and prices so competitive. I have hired him to paint the interior of my Home. Very clean and always on time. Don't sleep this on..!

He contacted me directly and quickly. Provided options for dates to come by and fix area. Met on time and completed the small project. Was polite and cleaned up.

They came out gave me an estimate. got the job done quickly I was well pleased with the quality of work.

I hired Mr. Barlow to repair drywall and paint my ceilings in the kitchen and the bedroom. The paint job was too thin and he was supposed to come back and finish the job. He never did. The paint job was terrible. He was friendly but I would not recommend but the job was incomplete.

I would recommend him to our community association. He was very professional, timely, his work was excellent, and he even got out ahead of his projected end time. I will definitely use him again.

Initially I was a little leery about hiring Mr. Barlow. His company name was unknown to me and it was just him and a couple of family members doing the work. I feared the estimate would be pricey and the work would drag on and on. But because of the decent reviews I took the chance and glad I did. Mr. Barlow gave a fair estimate for the amount of work I needed to be done. He and his crew were on time, polite and did excellent work. Due to a prior roof leak, I had major damage to the ceiling and walls on the entrance hall leading upstairs, kitchen and bedroom closet ceiling holes and wall damage, and wall buckling in the dining room that needed to be busted out and plastered. He even repaired and plastered areas that I had not noticed with no extra charge. They cleaned up everything and it was all competed in 2 days!

If i had another drywall issue I would call them again

Punctual, polite, thorough, and cleaned up as they worked. Even the music they played on the radio as they worked was tuned to a station that was for "mature" listeners. I am so impressed, I've hired them to paint my entire 1st Floor!!

He is prompt and reasonable

was hired to repair ceiling damage due to water leak this was a rental home-city inspection said repairs not done correctly could not get owner of company to come back and repair it correctly had to hire someone else to properly fix the damage

Mr. Barlow and his sons were very prompt, professional and the quality of work was excellent! They provided wet plaster repair of my livingroom ceiling and a wall followed by painting. They made sure that when they left my house each day everything was neatly left. I would highly recommend him. I do plan to use them again in the future.

Mr. Barlow and sons did a good job, however I had to call them to come back to do a second coating on the bedroom wall, he replied very quickly, he also did the painting job in the bedroom and stairwell walls, I was very pleased, his work is good and was done in a timely manner, with a reasonable cost, I would recommend him to others.

He had his son do a second plastering job in my living room. I will only give that job 2 1/2 stars. The plaster job is about 8 or 9 inches wide. It does not blend well to the rest of the ceiling.
