Water Treatment & Purification System Installation and Replacement
Unfortunately, I had a poor experience with Advanced Radon Mitigation and Water Treatment. The day of my installation of a water filtration system, sediment was passed through from the installation and fed into my combination boiler. I had to call an emergency plumbing and heating guy the same day to come as my hot water stopped working and the installers did not know what to do but had mentioned they had seen this happen before. This ultimately led to my 10-year-old combination boiler completely breaking down 3 days later and flooding my basement. My combination boiler was in perfect working condition and only 10 years old with documentation thanks to my home inspection one month prior and having the unit professionally serviced that morning before the installation. Advanced Radon Mitigation has cost me north of $7500 of damage between the water damage and destruction of my boiler. They did not even offer to pay the emergency plumbing and heating invoice that they directly caused. I had to withhold that portion of the final payment and they are still asking for that small chunk of change compared to the total amount of damage.

"Advanced Radon Mitigation & Water Treatment does not claim liability or admit any wrongdoing for this customers'boiler malfunctioning. Based on the professional opinion of the customers' own heating company, the clogged part appeared to be the result of many years of sediment from "unfiltered" water, collecting in the heating pipes, settling into one of the parts of the heating system when water pressure was released in order to install the new water treatment system. Their professional opinion was that absolutely nothing could have been done to either foresee nor prevent this clogging from occurring. The affected part could have easily and cost effectively been replaced for approximately $200.00 plus the cost of labor. A total sum of slightly over $700.00. Instead of simply having the affected part replaced, the customer chose to have the heating company completely remove the existing boiler and install an entirely new boiler system, for which in turn, he expected our Company to pay. In order to finalize this matter in a timely fashion, Advanced Radon Mitigation & Water Treatment and the Customer, through their individual insurance providers, have both come to an agreement to settle this issue. Without any claim or admission of liability on our part, the customer has agreed to a monetary settlement and has further agreed to remove all written complaints and detrimental comments and claims regarding our Company, from the BBB, Google, Yelp and other Social Media, Etc. Thank you"
