I have known William â Billâ Tidaback for many years and he was considered a business colleague, darn near a friend. As of today, I would not do any business with him and/or recommend his company to anyone. I really did not want solar panels when I bought into his very convincing sales pitch in December 2021, to the tune of $59k. He did some HVAC work when I renovated my basement in 2021. During that process he came and met with my husband and I at least three to four times trying to convince us to get solar panels. He was very convincing so we agreed to go ahead since he assured us our electric bill would be zero based on his analysis of our electric bill and future electric needs. YES, I WAS SKEPTICAL, and I didnâ t follow my gut. He took my money and promised to finish my job up in two months because he had already pre-ordered all the parts he needed for my job. First lie he told me. Needless to say he did not finish installing my job in two months. It took him more than six months. He then blamed COVID-19 for the delayed parts. But you told me you already ordered and had the parts for my project. Around October 2022, he finally installed the solar panels from us calling almost monthly begging for an installation update. We notice the system saying it was not working and called the company and bill. They really do not know what they are doing. February 2023, after I took pictures realized they realized the â brand new inverterâ they installed had not been working. We are not saving any money. so now it took over a month to get the new inverter Installed. April 2023, weâ re still not seeing the savings and weâ re getting no response from Bill Tidaback. When we ask about the green grant application he supposedly had submitted to the state of Delaware he blames the states bureaucracy and red tape. â Bill is full of crapâ . I called the state and Delmarva and he did and said so many things wrong. So it is July 2023 and Jessica tells us the green grant application was done incorrectly by a staff member who left. No one checked on the shade analysis so it was never submitted. The analysis was just sitting on a desk. This is despite my calls and emails about the status of the grant application monthly (In April or early May, I followed up and was told they needed to come out to my house and do another shade analysis in order to resubmit the information, because the first one was wrong). They canâ t move forward with the grant without the analysis, but Bill will not address the issues. Now in August 2023, I am still not at $zero. The weather was the reason. This is the middle of summer. The time the Bill Tidaback said I would see the most savings. What weather? Everyone else I know with solar panels are seeing the savings they were promised from their solar panel company. Now itâ s August I was told something happened to the computer so they have to come and redo the shade analysis again. Two weeks now and they gave me no date. It is now August 2023 and Bill has yet to return my call to address this debacle. His one off text message with one-line is not working anymore. I am literally sick of this. We have to given him and his company multiple opportunities to try and correct this issue. We should not have to beg a company that we have paid so much money to deliver a product and service to make it right. If you cannot, then return my money. They should stick to cooling and heating and leave solar panel installations to reputable companies. One panel hasnâ t worked since installation. Now I have to seek legal Advice on next steps to address this problem and hire a whole new company to redo my solar panels.

The company owner came to my home and quoted the job. He was professional and extremely knowageable. He had the best price out of four bids on the job. His workers were thorough and neat. I would hire them again.

They did an excellent job, very knowledgeable, and easy to work with.

Bill and his team installed a new gas heater at a very reasonable price. Not only a clean and quick install but took some extra time fixing a few errors from the original installation at no extra cost. He demonstrated that he wanted his craftsmanship to be reflected not just at the point of installation, but throughout the whole product. Quality work and a Quality team. Thanks Bill!!

this company gave an honest review of what was needed and required and listen to my needs and did the job as they said they would. They also followed up as promised. They replaced an gas fired boiler.

The technicians from Advanced, worked outside, in very cold weather, to install my electric boiler system. Despite the conditions and a very small installation area, the men were very professional and courteous. They finished, on time (two days) and took the time to explain what they had done, and how to operate the system. I would definitely recommend Advanced Solar Heating & Cooling of Maryland.

Fast turnaround from inspection and quote to getting the job done. I hired then to install new duct in my basement. From the time the owner gave me a quote to completion of work was about 3 days. Very professional. Owner oversaw work. They put down cloth to prevent tracking in the house and cleaned up after themselves. Excellent workmanship. I highly recommend them.

They are very easy to work with and accommodating. I don't have any complaint about their services at all.
