Great experience with Advanced! Removed 3 trees that were too big for our backyard. The job was made more complicated by the fact that there was no way to get a lift truck in due to fencing, power lines and buildings. They climbed up and brought them down with no damage to our property, and did a great job cleaning up the mess. Very reasonable pricing, and good communication. Will definitely use them again.

After working with several tree services over the years I'm grateful to have found Advanced Tree Solutions. John, Devin, and Tyler went above and beyond my expectations. This was the 2nd time I've hired them to take out major threats to my cabin in an old growth forest and I couldn't be happier. Their deep knowledge, and expertise utilizing several methods to safely take down monster trees and limbs hanging over my cabin and around my property was astonishing. This level of service, along with their excellent communication skills, and reasonable prices make them the best in class in Parke County!

The company cut down 2 trees and treated for insect infestation in 4 trees. John Montgomery, the owner was professional, knowledgeable and excellent to work with. His crew was also excellent. The experience was very satisfying. We will hire the company for any further tree work and will highly recommend it to others.

Advanced Tree Solutions was at my house today and did a wonderful job!!! I had some trees cut down and stumps grind out. They cleaned up everything to perfection. No problems. Pricewise they were more than reasonable!! It's a family business and the owner and workers were very friendly and cooperative!!!

I liked the care he took when driving over the neighbor's yard with heavy equipment.

I was away when the work was undertaken, but when I returned home everything was taken care of and there was a tidy pile of branches to be disposed of in an area of to the side. Overall, there were no problems and I will be hiring this company in the future for larger projects. <br />

Overall it was a great experience. Quick, affordable and professional. The only (minor) issue was the cleanup was not worthy of a perfect score. There were large pieces of tree left that the dogs brought into house and chewed on outside. Again not a huge issue but costed business a perfect score. <br />

I had a tree die a couple summers ago and it was too precarious to leave through the winter.  It was a very, very large tree that lost a 300 lb limb in a recent wind storm. I knew that the tree had to come down and John was very, very responsive.  The tree was removed within 10 days of my inquiry.  The tree was removed and all the debris was taken away from my yard and my neighbor's.  The tree was in a difficult space to get to (which is why it wasn't removed before), including cable and power line, much landscaping, fire pits, and fences and John was able to get to the tree without leaving any damage to the yard at all. His price was also $2,000 less than the next closest estimate, so i was a bit worried, but he didn't charge for all the "extras" like the others (like dropping wires and removing debris), and he did not need to take out my mature lilac bushes like the other two contractors required.  The overall value was very good and he delivered on the task.  However I am giving him a respectable B, for a few specific reasons: <br /> 1) the stump is still very visible--typically when I have a tree removed, the stump is ground and you don't have  a very visible stump, which no one really wants. <br /> 2) this house is  a rental, so the tree removal is an expense I need to claim on my taxes and he didn't have an official company invoice, so claiming the expense is difficult (because IRS often just thinks you paid a friend and tried to claim the expenses).  A legitimate business should really have official invoice.  <br /> 3)  he followed up with me after only 3 days and wanted to know why he hadn't received payment.  Of course it is customary for payment to be received within 30 days...then again it is also customary to receive an actual invoice.   The payment was in the mail 2 business days after the service,  and as a consumed that certainly seemed timely from my perspective.   <br /> All being said, He provided the services requested, he did it professionally, and he was ale to perform the service in a very timely fashion.  If the need arises in the future, I will use him.  And I would recommend him, just suggest that payment details would be worked out.
