Advanced Window Products

I've used Advanced Window Products (AWP) twice. I've been as unimpressed, disappointed, and frustrated by AWP the second time as I was satisfied the first time. For starters, they promised to credit me for the cost of installation since my builder installed the windows. It's been months, and following numerous (10? 12?) requests for that credit, and an equal number of promises from their salesman Rob, that that credit was imminent. They've done NOTHING. Besides having been lied to about the credit, their screens don't fit the windows they sold me and, again, after numerous attempts to get them replaced, AWP has done absolutely NOTHING. I would formerly have been complimentary of their products and service, now I can't say positive things about either. They have promised to do something about both matters so many times, and with so many repeat requests from me, that I now have to conclude they are just scam artist selling a substandard product with non-existent customer support.

We had 35 windows installed in our Draper home, sales guys are good, installers not so much! They rush through the job, their calk job around windows and doors is very sloppy and incomplete, in fact needed them to come back and scrape off calk around sliding patio door which they installed and redo everything, the calk was so bad, it is not professionally looking! I am currently awaiting warranty service for a leaky window, over 10 calls, 2 no shows when appt was supposedly scheduled to fix, 3rd time someone showed up but didn't have ladder, even though they knew this was on 2nd level of our house and needed a 30 foot ladder! Honestly this company cannot spell customer service, its really pathetic! Don't use this company, the supposed savings are not worth it!!

We chose Advanced Window Products again in 2018 after a great previous experience, but this time the result was very different. After installation, our living room window repeatedly leaked during heavy rainstorms coming from the northwest. Water entered from the top and side of the window under the same conditions over multiple years. We contacted the company several times and were initially told it was a roof issue, which was later proven incorrect. Multiple service visits only resulted in repeated caulking and minor adjustments that never resolved the problem. After years of unsuccessful repairs, an independent contractor determined the issue was improper installation involving flashing and vapor barrier problems. Once the window was fully removed and properly rebuilt, the leak stopped completely. This issue ultimately caused interior damage and significant out-of-pocket repair costs.

Very sloppy work, all they care about is getting your money. Tried to get them back to fix it, they kept blowing it off. Allorah has literally never answered the phone.
