Dan, the business owner, is one of most charismatic and caring people that I have ever met in my life. I was so upset, after buying a brand new home, that had mold in it, when I was handed the key to move in, at closing. I talked with people from various companies, and chose AdvantaClean, to do the work. Ive never owned a home before, or dealt with a contractor directly about anything. I told Dan I was paying not just for the work, but for the PEACE OF MIND, after I had a severe allergic reaction and some asthma attacks, when I moved into my new home, which were life threatening, for me. A dehumdifier I ordered arrived when Dan was here to do the FREE INITIAL INSPECTION, and he set it up for me! Dan even told me that some things werent really necessary, for me to do, to deal with the mold/moisture issues in my home; but, after having serious medical issues in this house, I was taking the SAFE than SORRY approach, and asked him to put everything that he thought could help, both now, and going forward, into the Work Order, so that I will have much more peace of mind, overall. So, he wasnt trying to pad the work or the bill. He did extra because I asked him to also add those things. The crew he sent were hard workers. I paid the deposit before the work was done (1/3 of the total bill, I think) online, and was billed for the rest, online, within a day of the work being done at my house by the crew. I am 65 and new to Medicare, though, and got a quarterly bill from Medicare that I had not expected this same month, that the crew came, that was due this same month. I had to pay that first, because it is for my medical care. So, I had to wait from the 12th of that month until my direct deposit on the 1st of the next month, to be able to finish paying AdvantaClean fully, all that I owed them. They were very understanding, and patient, and did not harass me or hurry me about that, in any way. As soon as I could, on the 1st, I paid that balance owed, online, which is fast, easy, and convenient. I would absolutely highly recommend this company! The only issues I had were the one employee of the 3-person crew that worked inside the home seemed to be sniffling some and pulled his mask down to talk to me, at one point, which, due to my age and health, I told him scared me, and I asked him to pull it back up. He also left some type of tool here, that I let the company know about, and they came to pick it up, eventually. The crew leader did tell me they found more water trapped underneath my house, and they cut open the liner to let it drain, and dry, to prevent more mold from growing, etc. When they left, I wasnt personally given a final update as to Where Things Stood, and I still have the liner cut open, now, which needs to be checked, for dryness, and patched/closed back up. I also need to know if the wall, and 3 feet in from the wall, that was wet, under the house, from the excessive, extended, rains, we have had, was dry now that they put in a french drain outside my house, along that wall. At 65, I really cannot crawl under my house, to check these things myself. I also think that they may have patched the original hole in the liner where the moisture got into the house, causing mold, but I dont know for sure. Dan had said that an employee would check these things, under my house, when he came to pick up their tool. But, when he came, he said that Dan told him to ONLY PICK UP THEIR TOOL; and, since he called Dan while he was still here, to clarify it, when I said Dan told ME this man would CHECK UNDER THE HOUSE when he came, too, but then he LEFT, that says to ME that Dan must have INDEED told him to just pick up their tool they left behind, or else, WHY DIDNT HE STAY and LOOK UNDER THE HOUSE? I was not happy about that.

Dan was super easy to work with help me to find another GC for additional work at the house and was available anytime I had questions! He even helped me to understand insurance!!!

They were the first of 3 companies to respond to my request for a quote. They were they most informative, listened to my needs, came in a timely manner and completed as scheduled with no hidden cost. I was also given names of other resources I needed to use for other projects. PS: please add â CRAWLSPACE ENCAPSULATIONâ to your services provided. I chose mold remediation because I had mold present.

The estimator was very polite and prompt. The mold remediators were running late for arrival but did call to notify me. They got busy as soon as they arrived and got the job done. I was also able to set up an annual inspection with them to avert this problem in the future. I paid exactly the price I was quoted.

They were very professional. Recommended the right fix for my drainage issue. Offer to do the work at a great price and actually started the very next day rather than wait for weeks like others. Called company for a quote, and they were at the house in less than 1 day to give a quote and tell us about what and how they do the work. The good thing was we didn't have to wait weeks for them to come to do the job. They came with in the week, which worked out great. My wife says she can tell the difference with how clean the air is now from our air duct cleaning. The guys that came out, gave me some good advice and tips on some d.i.y project for the weekend to help with gaps and cracks where the air unit in the closet is. Hopefully my household can breath good clean air now! Thank you!

Advantaclean was very professional, efficient and timely. They responded to the mold problem in our finished basement as a result of water from heavy raiins quickly. They had to modify the plan to prevent reoccurence once they opened up the basement wall and discovered several additional problems. They were still able to solve the problem and eliminate the mold without delaying completion or charges.

AdvantaClean exceeded by far my expectations for mold remediation. The inspection to determine the work to be done was to the point without any scary hype; the contract was simple and clear; the workers arrived early, were polite, careful not to harm our property, professional and thorough. They went above and beyond the work described in the contract, emptying a store room of all its contents and wiping down every item on every shelf. When it was discovered that my new dehumidifier did not come with a hose, one of them went to the hardware store for an adapter to make it work. Yes. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. They are honest, take pride in their work and are the gold standard for great customer service. You should hire them, too.

We didn't wind up hiring them for mold remediation, just testing. Once the test was completed, the owner gave a very honest recommendation to not hire them because of their high cost due to specialization that was not needed in this particular case and because the mold test came back negative. Their honesty saved me a hundreds of dollars.
