Affordable Appliance Repair

I called them because my Dryer had stopped working. When the technicians showed up, one of them had diagnosed the problem in a few minutes. The technician showed me the problem, suggested the repair, gave a cost estimate, and asked my opinion before starting the repair. It's been 3 months and I haven't had an issue with the dryer. But I'm still impressed with that customer service.

We hired him to repair a dishwasher seal. He came and diagnosed the problem, called to say the part was in and how much it cost, and was to come back last Thursday to do the repair. We've never heard from him since. We left a message, but he's never even returned the call. Not somebody I'd use again.

The problem was troubleshot and it was determined that a part had to be ordered, I paid $60 for the service call with the agreement that when the part arrived they would return and complete the repair. After making numerous phone calls they never returned to complete the job.

phone calls went unanswered if they could fix my dryer and when the delay was blamed on the service tech. my dryer sits disassembled on my garage floor in pieces. I will be purchasing a new dryer from a reliable organization. I would not recommend using this company.

They charged me $210.00 for a part which did not repair it. then told me it was something else. And would take 3 days to get it 3 days later they never showed up called 4 x no response. They did not know what they were doing as they carried no diagnostic eqpt. Never heard back, lost 2 days of work waiting DO NOT RECOMMEND

Only complaint was the guy didnt communicate on the fact he was going to be late. This seems to be quite an issue across the board with construction/ home repair guys. Other than that he was fast and I feel the price was very fair for the dryer repair job. I would recommend and rehire them, just have plenty of time off for late arrival.

I highly recommend this company. They were very responsive, very professional and excellent value. We had someone else come in and bid. He looked at the dryer, turned it on and said that is probably XX and it will cost $ALOT. Affordable Appliance Repair came in the next day, broke down the dryer, found out it was just a simple roller and quoted me half the other quote. While the dryer was apart, he also vacuumed out the insides, and checked everything else. He then put it all back together, was quick, and very friendly. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Able to come quickly to repair our freezer.....this was a big help..

Our 18 year old refrigerator suddenly quit cooling and freezing. Within 4 hours of our call for help, one of the company's repair persons arrived and quickly diagnosed the problem of a failed heat exchange line. He said he could repair the problem; however the likelihood of needing to replace other major parts due to the age of the appliance could add up very quickly. We opted to get a new appliance. Tony, the company repair person showed tremendous integrity and professional knowledge, He even verified his judgement about the issue with this employer, who readily agreed, The company chose integrity and good customer service over making a quick profit.

He worked very hard to fix my repair so I would certainly call them again as they fix other appliances besides washing machines. I, too, had an issue with no call for late arrival. Appointment was for 10 & arrival was 3. I had to call them to find out what was going on as I had someone housesitting for me & she was waiting 4 extra hours.

They did not put the appliance back together properly. They were supposed to return to fix it on a Wednesday- did not show up; Thursday- did not show up; Friday- called at 5:45 PM to return. Told them to pound sand and took it apart and put it back together correctly myself.

They do not call to tell you they are running late, or that they will not keep the app't.

Only problem with them is there call backs. When they are going to run late they do not call, its up to you. Otherwise I will continue to use them and recommend them.

Extremely poor experience, will never do business with this company. I contacted the owner George two days prior to appt. to ensure he understood the repair needed for my microwave. I included the brand and model #s in the service request and George advised me he had the correct parts to fix the turntable not working. On day of service, the technician calls me to tell me he is stuck in traffic and just got the job from "the boss man" at 8:30 for a 9:00 appt. The technician was short with me on the phone and did not give me the oppty. to ensure he understood the repair and indeed had the parts. He arrived 30 minutes late, did not know why he was at my home and indeed did not have any of the necessary parts. This would require another service call and I had not gone into the office for this appointment. I had the tech leave without wasting any more of my time. I called George and he was rude, short and he raised his voice at me telling me that he doesn't order parts before a service call. That was in contradiction to our call earlier. This experience is an example of what is wrong with so many American workers and companies; they are lazy, "bubba jones'" and should not be working on anyone's home unless you live in a trailer park. I am so disappointed with HomeAdvisor for having this extremely unprofessional company as a service provider.
