Only use this company if you wants Liens put against your home!! I selected Scott Allen and his crew from Affordable Electrical Service LLC to install a whole house generator for us. Mom lives with us and has cancer...so we cant be without power or heat. He brought the wrong generator 3 times. Wrong brand, wrong size and lastly wrong brand but right size. My generator cost me just over $6,700 (which was paid) but liens against my home is $18,000. He has not paid his suppliers and charged extra against my project. Please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I now am getting a Lawyer to try to clear all this mess. This company will take advantage of you!

received bid from said company on February 7th. Accepted bid several days later. completed work on February 14th. Told us they would call in for inspection. Did not. After repeated calls and emails and attempts to contact, they have not delivered on a final inspection for the electrical work they have done. Xxxxxxx Xxxx of LNI is a supervisor for electrical inspections for pierce county told us they never filed a permit request even though we were charged $61.50 for one. Told my wife today (2/21) to never contact them again. they refuse to take steps to refund for the permit charge or, to obtain one retroactively to complete the job. -bbbfile

They were a little late, but that was because of an emergency another customer had and they made extra effort to get to my house and were there essentially on time. There was a quick diagnosis with a quick fix and the person who came took time to talk about other issues unrelated to the reason for the call. No smoke, just the real thing. I'll probably use them again on another project, because of the straight talk I heard from them.

Scott responded to my request on Service Magic (within minutes). On the install day the tech arrived 3 1/2 hours late. After install the the furnace did not work. Tech found bad switch. Scott said 2 days. It has been 8 days and no response to my phone call. Did receive email. warehouse was closed.Will call. No sence of urgency, no appoligy. Still waiting for a responce.Confused about the other reviews saying quick, compensatrion, etc...

I would recommend them because of the cost and the quality of work, but I had to keep on top of the details. They arrived an hour early without calling, they put the corner of the new heater down on my new hardwood floors and I had to ask them twice to be careful, and they left some minor debris behind. They also didn't place the base board heater accurately, but when I pointed it out, they redid it and were very pleasant about it. When I pointed out that the cost was $20 higher than the estimate, they adjusted it with no problem. I think they are good people but just don't pay that much attention to detail. I'd hire them again though.

The owner contacted me promptly and talked over the problem with me. He sent his team of two journeyman electricians out the next morning. They analyzed the problem, examined all of the parts, fixtures, switches, etc. and were able to quickly get the lighting back on. We had had two other electricians come out to try and fix the problem, and neither of them could think it through like The guys from Affordable Electrical. I am already planning my next projects for them.

I gave 50% down payment on July 17 th 2012 and now October 25 th 2012 the job is 1/10th finished. He said it would take about 2 weeks to complete. I haven't heard from him since September 23 rd. Beware !

"Kelly wanted a special ordered cover for his generator had built on east coast, we went out and wired his 10circuit transfer told him it would be a few weeks before cover would arrive called several times stopped by twice to no no one being home. Finally took a huge loss and sent it back what he paid for he got the 50% paid for the 10 circuit transfer contractors beware of this guy wants everything for nothing the wants to blame us"
