Concrete Foundation Repair
Clay and his team were very friendly, professional and worked non-stop. He called before they arrived and answered every question. The work is/was outstanding. Best of all NO cracked sheetrock, molding or tile when the floor joist was raised and stabilized.

Clay, Mario, and Austin were very courteous and worked non-stop. Office staff and Jim West were courteous as well. I was present during helical pier installation and Clay always answered my questions and gave good explanations when I asked. Chris Miller and his crew did a great job as well with the tuck and point.

Everything went great. All guys worked really well and once they arrived they worked until the job was done. The forman, Clay was great about answering any questions I had, and after the original 12 piers were put in I was worried about one spot and wanted to add another pier there and he was great about getting his boss on the phone and getting it done.

Concrete Foundation Repair
The on-ground work crew were professional in there communications. The one area of concern I have is with the "fine print" in their payment process. Apparently, the electrical work is subcontracted out by Affordable Foundation & Home Repair, Inc. It is the company's expectation to be paid in full for the crawlspace work, regardless if the electrical portion is completed. I was told "we'd just subtract that portion out". Fortunately for me, I had existing electricity in my crawlspace. Customers have an expectation that full payment will be remitted upon completion of "all" work to include subcontracted work. Apparently this is not Affordable Foundation & Home Repair Inc's policy, therefore buyer beware.

"Cassandra, It is a very common practice for companies to collect for work completed and allowing customers to remit payment minus the sub contracted work. We choose to outsource our electrical to a licensed electrician to ensure top quality electrical work is completed. We actually state payment arrangements in the estimate that is first provided to customers on inspection which states: INSTALL ELECTRICAL WIRING FOR SUMP-PUMP OPERATION. PLEASE NOTE: Electrical will be contracted out to a licensed electrician, if for any reason electrical has not been finished upon AFHR completion, please remit payment to foreman less electrical. Considering you were not charged for electrical because you currently had electrical available you were not made aware of these notes being made on your contract since they weren't necessary. We were happy to assist you in waterproofing your crawl space and if you ever have any more questions or concerns please feel free to call anytime."
