Did job adequetly, but afterwards a shelf fell down (there was only 1 shelf). Overall the quality was poor and I would not use again. Had excellent experiences before with ServiceMagic previously, but this company makes me hesitate to use again. Also, constantly cancelled appointments or called to be late. Would not return my wife's phone calls.

Doors (Interior) - Install or Replace
The employee from affordable handyman said the project would require door plaining, resurfacing, and the installation of a door stop. His quote based on the labor and projected time (2-4 hours) was $225.00. However, the doors did not require any of the tasks quoted and took less than 1 hour to complete. His quote to me over the phone was much less $150 if the job just involved hanging and re-swinging the doors. I feel the employee from affordable handyman misrepresented the job. Also,the employee left the house without cleaning the mess from the job.Paint chips and saw dust were all over the bedroom from the job.

It was a small job that I could never find anyone to take. When I explained on the phone the project at 9AM they said they would be there at 1PM...and they were! Finished the job that afternoon and did a perfect job. Plan on using them again in the near future.
