I hired AHI, LLC Oct. 18, 2021 to perform renovation of standard size bathroom that was really do for an upgrade. Both the construction contractor Omar and project manager Pam came out to review the work that needed to be performed and wrote up the contractor accordance to what I wanted to have done. I gave a time for them to report on site and Omar came on time each day as requested. We discussed how I wanted certain things to be placed. Pam worked with me with picking out the floor tiles and backsplash. She was very patient as we looked for the perfect tiles as well as selecting a paint color. Pam and Omar coordinated with the electrician and the contractor to perform the tub restoration which turned out looking brand new. If there were any issues with the construction of the project, I called Pam and she made sure that it was taken care of before the final punch list; job completed on Nov. 15, 2021. I would hire AHI, LLC to perform other projects.

I used AHI for my kitchen and bathroom remodel, and Sydney made the experience so easy. He stuck to the incredibly short timeline, and kept me updated and helped with my choices along the way. Would definitely recommend and use them again!

I hired Affordable Home Improvements (AHI) to do a variety of things for one of my properties. The list includes kitchen remodel, installation of floors, painting, drywall, electrical, plumbing and ensuring that everything was up to DC codes. I knew they were going to be great when we had our consultation and Sydney talked me through â  the howâ  of all the repairs. To me, that really demonstrated knowledge and capabilities. Also Sydney noticed things as we were discussing the project that other contractors missed, I really appreciated this because there were no surprises in pricing and doing the work. I have recommended them to my friends and will continue to do so. They are definitely my go-to for a contractor and I look forward to working with them again. Hire them, you wonâ  t regret it.

Syd and his team were fantastic! They were thorough and fast but didnâ t compromise quality. Theyâ re very detailed oriented and made it easy to flow through the process with updates, photos and invoices throughout the entire process. Weâ d work with them again in a heartbeat!

The contractors at Affordable Home Improvements did very good work. They were quick to respond and provided a quote based on the pictures and what we discussed. The project manager was flexible when I had to reschedule at the last minute. I had interior french doors installed they came and installed the doors on the day we agreed to. The doors were installed, a new frame was put it and everything was painted. My only regret is that I didn?t have the budget to replace all my doors because one set of doors is nicer than the rest.

Sydney, Angel and Oscar did a great job installing new, luxury vinyl plank flooring in our basement. They provided excellent customer service and were attentive of our needs. Even though some challenges arose with the install, they were able to provide options and solutions to get it done. The basement looks great.

I was pleased with Sidneys work ethic and consistantcy, and how he came to my home to assess the issue that I was having, in a timely manner . I was having a large tree trimmed that had branches hanging to close to my roof, which it presented an issue with my insurance company. "I was happy about the work his company did."

Sydney and his crew are very easy to work with. They are up front about pricing, clear about change orders and do great work. They put in a new bathroom for us and did some other electrical work. The bathroom is beautiful and everything works great!

I hired Affordable Homes to build a wood privacy fence, which included boxing in a large mulberry tree. I am very pleased with the work, and they even put up chicken wire on an existing fence as a courtesy. My experience was great with AHI. Ms. Anne was a pleasure to deal with and maintained the highest level of professionalism throughout the process.

We had Affordable Home Improvements come out to deal with a longstanding plumbing issue and repair the subsequent water damage to the drywall on our bulkhead and ceiling in our dining room from the aforementioned plumbing issue along with an isolated overflow. We reached out to contractors for bids, as you do, and Affordable Home Improvements was the first to reply, set up an appointment and come out; Sydney, the project manager was thorough and delivered the estimate that addressed all of our needs and was super affordable. The plumbing team was top notch and helped resolve the quick "fixes" that were done in the first place and we can now use the tub as intended; it wasn't easy and probably took a little longer than they thought but they were undaunted to correct the shoddy work they had observed. The team that did the drywall was SUPER efficient: from the methodical way the prepared the dining room, to the speed in which they repaired the seam and excised drywall to the painting of the ceiling and bulkhead, they ensured that the job was complete and dried using handheld heaters. They even used the original wall paint to repair damage to the walls (it was good that we held on to it!). Sydney was in regular contact by phone and in-person to inspect the work and we were happy with the result. We have already sought an estimate for other follow-on work and will not hesitate to include Affordable Home Improvements in the future.

Had excellent and outstanding services. The company kept me informed during the remodeling and answered all my questions and concerns, I was highly impressed with completed job. In fact, the company also remodeled by basement with 100 percent satisfaction.

Very high quality work for a fair price.

The entire team was extremely professional! The day that they began my kitchen remodel, my husband went into the hospital. The project manager, Sidney, checked in with me several times a day just to give me updates and see if I needed anything. Angel and Oscar completed my flooring, painted, put in beautiful crown molding, and new baseboards. They cleaned up after themselves and put all my furniture back in place so that I didn't have to move anything when I brought my husband home. They are just fantastic and I plan on using them again!

They did a great all around job, finished sooner than expected, cleaned up after themselves.

Work was done to my likings, but as the project neared completion, the site manager was very distant due to another project he was starting & it became unpleasant. Before you pay that last installment, make sure all issues are corrected & documented....

This was a small room with big problems! It required a total renovation that included tearing it apart and starting from scratch: plumbing, electrical, drywall, flooring, painting, and fixtures (toilet, vanity/sink combination, light, and mirror). I considered this a daunting project, but Sydney and Riggo transformed this space into an attractive room that I am proud of. They did this in little more than a week and for a very reasonable cost. They were great to work with too. I was especially pleased that all debris was removed and the area left clean and neat. I would not hesitate to call this company again and definitely recommend them to others.

We used Affordable Home Improvements to remodel our basement. We found our project manager (Sydney) punctual, organized, professional and a good communicator. Sydney kept our project moving at a very efficient pace with no unexpected surprises. Not only was the work very good, but the process was seamless and transparent. They provide pictures and a project timeline that can be accessed at any time throughout the project. Sydney was flexible and willing to work with our specific requests. This is a departure from the experiences I have had with other contractors in the past. I would strongly recommend this company and Sydney.

Sydney cared about what I wanted and cared about making sure the quality of the work was up to high standards. Everyone was very nice and extremely flexible. One day our AC broke, and they completed their work even under the conditions. They checked in frequently and kept to their word on time line and left my home neat and clean. He demonstrated ownership and respect for my home.
