"Kirk and Julie wanted to totally remodel two bathrooms in their home. We showed them various ideas, materials and design concepts. They chose color and styles of cultured marble. And now have two updated, functional and beautiful bathrooms. Thank you Kirk and Julie for being terrific clients to work with and for appreciating our work with this review and rating. George"
"Thank you, Linda, for your positive review. Working with you and John was a real pleasure. Real positive people and attitudes. Your projects started by asking about painting your house. Then you added a complete kitchen remodel including beautiful new white cabinets, granite countertops, tile backsplash and more. Beautiful and timeless. We were pleased to work with the two of you to create your dream kitchen and more. Thank you both for being such great people to work with. George."
"There are a number of discrepancies in this client review. The cabinet door sample was shown to the client before ordering. The quality of the cabinets is above the quality of store-bought cabinets. Removal of the old cabinets in all cases intact was not possible. This was determined during the removal. The previous cabinets were built in place and not as units. Therefore when removed they came off in pieces. While we attempt to line up our tradesmen as close as possible between tasks in the project it does not always occur. Several factors impacted this project including weather conditions, flu and illnesses, and death in the family. All items beyond our control that most clients understand including waiting for the cabinet order to arrive. We have pictures of the completed kitchen and it is beautiful. As the saying goes, you cannot please everyone every time. Even Disneyland has its critics."
"Thank you Donna for your kind words and appreciation of our team and project. It was a pleasure working with you and your positive and cooperative attitude."
"While we agree that the project did take longer there were extenuating circumstances that affected the timing: 1. Original project involved: Custom upscale bathroom remodel, Kitchen granite countertops, 800 square feet of flooring plus other items. 2. Client took time selecting granite and initially hardwood flooring 3. Client changed from hardwood to tile flooring 4. Client spend numerous time periods traveling out of state. 5. Client selected granite at distributer location on site. Client visited distributer on several times to reconfirm her selection. In each time the granite was outdoors in various weather conditions from cloudy to sunny. Client also brought sample of tile flooring and placed against granite. 6. Granite was fabricated and installed in client's house. 7. Client insisted it was not the granite ordered. Distributer, fabricator and contractor verified and confirmed the granite was as ordered. 8. Client delayed payment for months pending reaching some sort of resolution. The resolution involved a discount and adjusting one section of edging under warrantee. 9. Flooring involved another delay.. Client initially chose hardwood and engineered hardwood. After consideration, decision was made to install tile instead. 10. Tile was then ordered and took several weeks to receive and then 10 days to install due to the nature of the job and the installation involved. 11. Custom upscale bathroom and oversize shower tiling. This involved removal of existing whirlpool tub, removing flooring, relocating plumbing and electrical, reinstalling new whirlpool tub . 12. The tiles for the shower also involved some unique custom made tiles which took several months to obtain. 13. Shower was tiled, completed, and fully functional. 14. After a month a manufacturer defect appeared on 8 of the bullnose tiles. This was reported to the supplier and the manufacturer for review, investigation and warrantee repair. 15. During this time the shower was fully operational and client used it with no issues. 16. The manufacturer contacted overseas head office and engineering to approve warrantee repairs and determine cause of defect as well as provided direction for repair. 17. The eight tiles came from a defective manufacture production run by lot number. It also impacted other clients as well. The first repair that we did as per manufacturer direction did not meet client or contractor or supplier approval. 18. Manufacturer created 8 new bullnose tiles to match original and other tiles in the shower. Our master tile installer carefully removed the 8 defective tiles, installed the new 8 tiles, grouted the new tiles and accomplished a 100% perfect match to the client satisfaction 19. Client for the most part paid on time as per contractual mutual agreement. There was a time period when two payments on other aspects of the projects were with held despite the warranted covered the repairs on different aspects of projects that had already been"
"The project actually took the correct amount of time. Client is a senior with unreasonable time expectations. Client compared time to her perceived time thoughts. Project involved bathroom remodel in a 30 year old single wide mobile home. Client selected us as we were 25% less than other companies. We explained the time period. Custom cultured marble shower was ordered due to the unique size of mobile home. Shower took longer to receive from manufacturer due to production. Despite delays caused by weather and flu throughout the staff, project proceeded. Client was informed at all times. Client is extremely pleased with result."
"Thank you to Nina and Eddie for their cooperation and rating of our work and team.. The bathroom was in a bad shape of repairs over the years and needed extra work.. The end results were achieved and clients are very happy. A pleasure to work with such nice clients. George"
"Thanks for the rating Amy.. Amy and her family are doing as much of the demo and repairs on a foreclosed house themselves.. The house is two stories. With this in mind, they hired us to remove two load bearing walls between the kitchen and living room and between the living room and dining room. These walls support the second story.. We ordered specialized beams. Built temporary walls. Installed the beams. Removed the temporary walls. Amazing how much more space is created when rooms are opened up.. Clients are pleased. Also a pleasure to work with nice clients.. George"
"Thanks Tom and Stacy for the kind words and rating. The project created a sunroom/office addition on to the back of an existing ranch style house.. All aspects of the job were handled by our team of professionals. Clients are extremely pleased with the results and the extra space. And they get to stay in their house and neighborhood without moving. Great clients. George"
"Sharon has a special house at the Lake. She required a custom vanity, cultured marble sink top and custom cultured marble base and shower. During the process, however, the custom shower and base was produced wrong at the factory. Too small. This necessitated re ordering and producing the correct size. In addition, the custom vanity was ordered and the factory had a backlog of orders to fill which delayed the process. While we explained the scenario to the client, she did not like hearing the answers. It is not always possible to produce materials from a factory as fast as clients expect. Sometimes they need to be more understanding and tolerant. Nevertheless, the vanity and the cultured marble shower are significantly more upscale and quality produced than the previous fiberglass shower they replace. George"
"Dee called and asked us to design and build a custom sunroom addition. She told us the budget. I explained we would custom design the sunroom, show them the plans and a detailed proposal and agreement.. When we returned with the plans and the agreement they were thrilled at the design and at the significant reduction in the price less than the budget they originally provided. It created faith between the clients and contractor. Nice people. Pleasure to work with them.. George"
"The project was to design an upscale kitchen in a high rise condominium.. It also involved removing walls, replacing electrical within conduit, replacing plumbing, installing drywall, removing popcorn ceiling throughout the entire condo, painting the entire condo, installing custom granite counter tops, installing custom backsplash tiles, installing appliances.. It is now possible to have complete north and south views of the city from the time someone enters the condominium.. Very nice and cooperative clients.. Thank you. George"
"Clients have a beautiful home in a rural setting. The original bathroom was not designed properly or functional by todays standards. The extremely small shower was converted into a much needed linen closet. The undersized tub in a larger area was converted to an extremely oversized shower. Clients are amazed at the transformation and appreciated the degree of attention to their needs and project. They have referred others since completion."
"Client lives in a rural out of the way location that other contractors would not and chose not to provide service or estimates. We provide remodeling services to our outlining clients or some would never get the assistance they need. The bathroom was remodeling on time and on budget. The client was extremely satisfied."
"Clients had very specific requirements and assistance needs. The design and implementation of the bathroom functionality was critical to basic movement and self-sufficiency. We were pleased to be of great service to clients. Since completion Client has referred others to our company."
"Yes your pergola was a challenging and extremely complicated job. Our design and custom installation ensured that the pergola fit with the style and materials of the house. SInce many of your neighbours have seen the finished product, we now have two additional custom additions contracted. Thank you again for recognizing quallity workmanship and attention to detail."
"This is an upscale house with beautiful interior trim around all windows. The exterior is a combination of brick, stone and stucco. Expensive wood windows had decayed and were replaced with thermal efficient high quality all vinyl windows. Since the replacement windows were installed in three different exterior finishes, extreme care and quality of installation was critical. Also additional wood trim was required to be custom fabricated and stained prior to reinstalling all trim around all windows. A complicated and time consuming job resulting in a very satisfied client."
"Thank you Pat for your rating and appreciation of our team professionals and workmanship. It is always a pleasure to work with homeowners who appreciate a quality approach to a remodel project."
"This is clearly not the case... Homeowner was told it was 8 - 12 weeks weather permitting. The job involved significant repairs and remodelling of a poorly constructed existing sunroom structure. Rain was a significant issue. In addition, the client wanted custom made cabinets to expand the existing kitchen and also to have a wall to wall bookcase manufactured covering 12 + feet. Client made numerous custom changes to both the kitchen and the bookcase. The custom cabinet work was givien to a well know kitchen supplier. They in turn gave it to one of their manufacturer's. Being a custom fabrication job, the manufacturer took over 3 months to do the job and return the cabinets to the client. Our contracts clearly state the following and we quote: " All elements of this agreement are contingent upon strikes, accidents, or delays beyond our control which may include product delivery delays, weather or illness. " Client read the contract, had the three day right of cancellation and chose to continue with the project.. Delays were directly related to weather and manufacturer slow turnaround beyond our control."
