I would highly recommend Affordable Home Repairs! My wife and I have been restoring a historic home for the past two years and we got to a point where we needed an expert. My father has been a contractor for 50 years so I had pretty high standards and expectations for the work I wanted done. Scott was the consummate professional! He arrived on time, has a wide command of construction knowledge and topics and knew exactly what needed to be done. He and his crew went above and beyond in doing the work. He repaired four difficult areas of exterior trim work as well as installed widow’s walk type balcony on the second floor of my home. He demanded no front money and also paint matched the trim color and painted all the new wood he installed. I would highly recommend Scott and his wife Nicole for any and all home repairs! I will certainly be using him again for our future construction needs!

paint job was poor Didnt paint around door jam. Didnt sink nail head after installing storm door. Damaged my vinyl siding and didnt tell me.

Requested a quote for a repair in my leaking roof. Scott came over and fixed the leak on the spot. He also noticed several other trouble ares that needed to be sealed. He fixed everything for $100. Great experience, will hire again.

I have an 2-Family older home in Worcester and the porches were sagging due to age and lack of proper footings/support in general. Scott came over in 24 hours to assess the situation and gave a great recommendation for repair versus completely rebuilding. After the work was complete, he actually lowered the price since it didn't take as long. He's very honest and does great work. Based on this, I've asked him to do another project and planning on future work. I would definitely recommend him - service and quality were great.

Scott was great. I hired him to work on my parents house. He was very professional and accommodating. I plan to hire him for more work there as well as my house further down the road. On a related note, he was the only person from Home Advisor to respond to my online request. That says a lot about his customer service versus the other local "big guys". I didn't comparison shop. I wanted someone with a good rep....the good work would follow. And it did. Thanks!

Scott is a very knowledgeable professional, works quickly, keeps area very clean and in all aspects, is first rate. We have had several contractors in the past for various projects and rate him the best of these.

It is not affordable. He uses short cuts to mascarade the job, instead of doing the job he was contraced for.

Very prompt and professional, arrived on time, did the work well within the time limit. Was pleasant, not pushy, and gave me detailed information before, during and after the installation. Price was reasonable and thousands of dollars less than the other quotes I received for the same product.

Scott was excellent to work with. very kind man. did excellent work and did what l asked of him. have already recommended him to several of my friends. would definitely hire him again. very reasonable. and very easy to get along with. finished his work in a timely manor and left the job site clean.

I would, but I would explain that they better get every detail covered in the contract because I didn't and was unhappy with the type of lumber used for the storage bench on my deck. I "assumed" that all the lumber used would be pressure treated and ready to withstand outdoor weather changes.
