He was paid for a job that never was completed and offered a refund but then stopped communication.

After being hired, the contractor changed how the job was to be done. Before starting any work, he wanted additional money on top of the deposit. It became obvious quite soon that Mr. Redmond had not priced the project costs before giving estimates and quoting a price. The contract was for a garage roof (terminated that part of the contract), 2 shed roofs and fencing. He tore down the fencing and removed shingles from one of the sheds. He then quit returning calls, said he would not refund the down payment, and refused to answer communications. He explained to a friend that contracted him that he was an honest contractor and always did the right thing. Taking a deposit and not doing the job is not honest or doing the right thing, Do not trust Affordable Renovations and Home Remodels. He does not have the professional knowledge or honesty required.

Started project late, worked 1/2 or less when they showed up, did not finish on time. Did not clean up. Showed up without a ladder or apparent knowledge of needs even though Otis came before and inspected the job and made the estimate. Job remains only started at day 6 (Thanksgiving excluded).

Take so long to complete the project. It as of this day is not completed. Been working on project for over 6 weeks.
