Dale Stewart came to my home at the time scheduled. He assessed the problem and told me I should try to find who sold it to me in case it was still under warranty. He charged me nothing for his trip; he said he hadn't really done anything yet. How rare is that? Then he said he check on costs for parts, but wouldn't order anything until I found out if it was under warranty elsewhere. In the end, I decided to replace my water softener with a rental from Affordable Water Softners as fixing the old one was too costly being I plan to sell my home this year.
