Age Old Plumbing

Do not use this company. Totally messed up an install of a Maserator plumbing system. They did not use the parts that Saniflo said were mandatory to use for the pump system to work. They also did not follow Colorado residential code requirements This would have voided the warranty on the system.They also did not vent the plumbing according to the direction of the Saniflo system which would have resulted in the pump system breaking and sewage going everywhere. He bragged he was a master plumber yet made these types of errors. He also overcharged us for a faucet by 275.00 dollars and told us this was his cost. Totally incompetent.

I am not one who easily/regularly provides a perfect review to anyone or anything. This case was an exception to my standard. Not only did John excel and exceed my expectations on-site but so did his wife. She not only got us scheduled promptly, allowing for install time if I chose to hire them, but also was flexible when I encountered a last minute need to change our scheduled appointment due to personal illness. They recognized my husband's service by providing a military/veteran discount. The installation was nearly half the price of even the most affordable companies and the on site/in home quote was free. You can't beat that especially when you ask them to complete the task in the same appointment and they succeeded completing it it's remarkable. In less than 1 hour I had a brand new toilet installed and the other removed and hauled away. I have saved their information for future use. FYI - - my only heads up is that at this time they do not accept credit carda. However, they accept cash and check. That would be the only small snag that took come up.

He does not have a license, he is not a master plumber, he did not get a permit, I was never given a contract that was supposed to be e mailed to me and according to truth finder he is a registered sex offender! I thought homeadvisor reviewed these companies!!!

This experience was so positive, when you say plumber you think it going to cost a arm and half leg but it did not cost any body parts. The plumber was very respectful and explain everything to me. I am going to hire him again.

I have an older home with 2 outdoor faucets couldn't be fixed and needed to be replaced. It was tricky because of the stucco I had done a few years back and the way the original pipes had been installed. He solved the issues quickly and I now can water my garden again. Thanks John!

John, the plumber, from Age Old Plumbing was wonderful.Very nice guy. I had a completely broken and busted commode and needed a whole new toilet system installed and He removed the old one, bought me a new one and installed a whole new commode system. He was fast, friendly, efficient and very reasonably priced. Very nice guy, I would highly recommend him for any plumbing problems. I'm going to hire him again to put in a new garbage disposal.

BEWARE!!!!!!! DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY!!!! This guy was the most unprofessional man I have ever dealt with. Our sewer was backing up into my bedroom so I called him out to clean the line. John (the owner) came out, apparently a single man operation, a half hour late. I showed him the easiest way to access the inside clean-out which involved going through my family room and my master bedroom. I asked him to be careful of the mud as we had just cleaned the carpets. I left him alone to do his thing. When I went outside to check on him I noticed he had tracked mud all over my brand new driveway and brand new porch, I mean tons of mud. He made no effort to avoid tracking it everywhere. When snaking the outside clean-out did not work he went inside to try from the inside clean-out. You would think he would have worn booties or attempted to clean his shoes. Nope, he tracked mud everywhere inside my house, huge mud blobs littered the carpet in the entire downstairs and all over my new hardwood floors upstairs. What would be the worst thing you could do in a home where the sewer was backing up??? This guy went #2 in not one of my bathrooms but both of them. I found *them* after he left, right where he dropped *them*, It was disgusting!!!!! When he first got there he talked like he had been in business for many years, however, he did not have invoices with the company name, did not even have a bank account in the company name. I wrote the check to the company name and he made me redo it with his personal name. He was there for an hour and could not fix the problem, destroyed my floors, crapped in both of my unflushable toilets, and still had the audacity to charge me $200. To be clear, I am not upset with him for not being able to fix the problem, however another plumber did fix it, I am upset with his unprofessionalism and complete disrespect for my home and property. Again.........BEWARE!!!!!!! DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY!!!! One other thing, I noticed in one of the reviews here on HomeAdvisor where the reviewer has used them several times over the years, how is this possible when *he* not *they*, have only been in business since 2019.
