Agnew Lawn Care and Landscaping

I recently had some landscaping work done by Anthony Agnew and his team. The job was done well and cheaply but I'm bothered by their customer service. After the landscaping was done I was supposed to have my lawn mowed regularly. It is now 19 days since they were supposed to come out and they have ignored a (polite) phone call and email. I can only assume the reason they no longer want to interact with me is that I was wearing a gay pride shirt when I signed off on their landscaping job. I'd avoid them if you can.

Worked very efficiently and completed the job in a timely manner.

The team did a great time on our fence and. Completed the job within 3 days from start to finish.

These folks were very unprofessional. They didn't show up or call the day of the quote. They came the next day which was fine. They did not show up or call the first day work was to begin. I had to call them. They showed up the next day. They also kept telling me how what I wanted (to leave the spindles painted white) made the job more difficult. The work was mediocre. There are still some areas that could use work. They also left trash in my yard. They did stick to the original quote fee and did not try to charge me more.

Found rocks all over my back yard! GREAT JOB ON RETAINING WALL, but I should not have to pick up rocks!!! plus had to add a lot of dirt to real low areas over french drain in the back yard! he informed me of needing to to add on the side of the house. Hard working guys, but need to do A LOT BETTER JOB ON CLEANUP

Mr. Agnew and his crew were very professional and expedient - they were done with my "jungle" within 30 minutes! Even did extra by mowing the backyard of my neighbors (who broke their mower) with no complaint. Try to find the Facebook page and get yourself an appointment for some lawn care or landscaping. Nice new house with a plain backyard, but needs work? Call. Want a deck but not your forte? Call. These guys do quality work at a reasonable price, and I would recommend them anytime. To anyone. We had to reschedule due to an error on my part (wrong house number, duh!), but an overall excellent job done in heat & humidity by the whole crew. Thanks, guys!

Put creek gravel on front yard, due to shade grass would not grow. Did quickly and professionally. Due to excellent work also hired to stain outside of house. Able to do in one day. Even went with me to check out stain to use. Had to go twice (due to problem at store). Something he did not have to do. Asking numerous times if work was being done to my liking. When I asked to repeat an area for cleaning (power washed house also) did so without question. Owner continually checked work of his employees also, and would have them repeat cleaning as necessary.

Owner is short tempered with staff, foul mouth disrespectful of customer. Didn't call to say he wouldn't be showing up. If feel like he black mailed me for payment in middle of job. Didn't finish job.

Even though there were a couple kinks everything was worked out to our satisfaction and the project was completed as planned. Everyone on the crew was very friendly and all my questions were answered promptly; something the other companies under consideration didn't do. We would certainly use this company for future projects and recommend the company to our friends and neighbors.

Although the overall mowing job was satisfactory, he and his helper damaged things. His helper damaged the bottom of a house downspout and the bottom of an edge siding piece on my shed. The owner hit and significantly damaged the siding on the front of my house with his riding mower. By trying to clean it, we discovered the siding was severely cracked and needs to be replaced. On the positive side, he was honest about the damage he did and we agreed he wouldn't charge for the mowing job. Still, I have to buy a new piece of siding and have it replaced. This means I have to spend more time on my house. Not sure if the free mowing job will make up (in money and time) for the damage they've caused. Being careful is evidently not his (or his helper's) strong suit. I do not recommend him for the reason stated above.

i talk to the owner and he gave me a estimate at night and got the job done the next day in one attempt

Although there were hiccups - they made sure everything was done as promised and provided extra material at their cost. My neighbors asked for a referral they liked it so much

They did a good job. I plan on hiring them for future projects.

Adam Agnew is very conscientious and takes pride in his work. He completed the landscaping project in a timely manor and was very fair in his pricing. Backyard looks great.

Thought they were very knowledgeable. Gave suggestions without being pushy. Work was completed quickly and really liked the overall effect when done. Am waiting on the arrival of two trees and a shrub. At the time work was done, the trees were not available. Great work guys!
