Poor quality of work. Roof leaked from beginning. We were not able to get them to return to fix it. We had to to hire someone else to complete the job. No response from them after dozens of phone calls. Extremely dissatisfied. We would never recommend. We would not even have given them even a half star but the site insisted that something be put in the rating.

It took a long time before they even began the job. At the end of the work day the site was a total mess with tools and lumber all over the yard. The workmen were only here for short periods of time each day. After the job was completed I noticed several of the deck boards had only been screwed down randomly. The uprights for the rail were secured with brads - many of which were exposed because they only partly were driven into the horizontal boards. The finance company they use charged a high interest even though we have excellent credit and they calculated the interest totally wrong ($125 interest for one month!). I paid the loan off be financing with a better company.

Work took longer than originally agreed upon. Contractors left our bathroom floor scarred with a tile saw, and residual grout left everywhere. Had to have another contractor from same company come out 2 weeks later to repair shower drain. Contractor used my shop vac, without me knowing it, and ruined it. UPDATE*** Owner has contacted and assured me that the original contracting team no longer works for Agnew. Thank you for straightening things out!

Bathroom - Remodel

The job was a remodel for a small bathroom with just a shower, a toilet, and a small cabinet. Replaced plastic shower unit with tile, tiled floor, and replaced wallpaper with textured wall. Replaced cabinet. The job took 3 months to complete! I was told someone would come out and help with design and options. That did not happen. I designed the new bathroom and chose what I wanted after the contract. But the contractor ordered wrong parts, including the shower door and tile. This resulted in delays. I specified the paint but they ordered the wrong paint and it had to be repainted. The drain was done very poorly and they had to come back and fix that. The finish on the cabinet had a big run on it. The tile on the floor was not as flat and even as it should be. A big issue with the work is the lack of moisture protection behind the tile. Only moisture resistant sheet rock was used. This is inadequate. Over time, this may lead to mold. I was told when I signed the contract that the sheet rock (or whatever the tile would be glued to) and the shower pan would be encapsulated in a sturdy plastic barrier to keep moisture contained. This was not done! Also, after a few months the grout around the drain started to collapse into a cavity around the drain because there was nothing underneath to support it! There is also nothing under the slab that was poured for the shower floor that would direct the water which did not go down the drain into the drain! Communication with the contractor was difficult during the job. The overseer of the job did not even have his voice mail activated. I would NEVER hire these guys again. I am going to have to get someone else to do a significant amount of rework at a significant cost.

They are very professional, you can tell they care about their customers. They went beyond the contract and took excellent care of us. The end result was way more then we expected. My bathroom is absolutely gorgeous.
